Saw and held a galaxy note for the first time. Damn
They did a really good job of hiding all the traces of ICS
That's what bugs me about TouchWiz so much. It served a good purpose on top of Gingerbread, which had an OK UI but it wasn't anything special, and TW improved it drastically. But ICS has a very good interface, which TW is killing completely in my opinion.
a!!!!!!!!ATTENTION SGS2/NOTE USERS WITH ICS!!!!!!!! i found this fucking sweet app made by chainfire http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114 it resets the flash counter and removes the triangle at startup worked flawlessly for me and if i want to send it to warranty im all set :) works ONLY for ICS, dont even bother with other versions [editline]20th February 2012[/editline]
That's what bugs me about TouchWiz so much. Today, I went to my local Rogers store and saw how really big tat Galaxy Note is. It couldn't fit in any of my pockets, I swear. Therefore, it's not the phone for me, the SGSII is, for now.
Are there any apps to use your camera as a background? I haven't had a chance to look around in the market, as my phone hasn't got Internet here all weekend.

But in ICS... It just still looks like Android 2.3. They didn't update Touchwiz at all, just ported it... Even HTC did a better job on ICS.

Okay this is more like it, costs money and doesn't seem to support ICS. - And further reading makes it sound like this contains spyware, too! So... Umm... Yeah
I'm looking to upgrade from my MyTouch. I've been looking at the sensation because of it's running speed, but I was wondering if there were other options around it's price range
NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE. Wait. I'm betting the OneX or something similar is inbound to T-Mobile. [editline]19th February 2012[/editline]
I wish my phone could have ICS. [editline]19th February 2012[/editline] Htc said the Desire HD will get ICS. Does that also mean my Inspire 4G?
If you're S-OFF, yes. You will get ICS a few days before the official OTA, and it will be patched for Inspires 30 minutes after the DHD version is released. [editline]19th February 2012[/editline] I feel like with HTC Sense 4.0, retheming everything to ICS blue and flat black would actually make it fit the Holo theme very well.
Currently using Semaphore 2.5.0 kernel for Galaxy S although for some reason whenever I restart my phone it defaults the settings (disabled netfilter and resets governors). I am currently using Semaphore Script Manager 0.74. Anyone?
Tried ICS for my Galaxy S i9000 and it was pretty smooth and cool, I like it a lot. I had to revert to GB though as the battery was draining too fast, 40% of it coming from the OS.

At least the GNex users that use the update say that Android OS is no longer draining the battery.
Don't have both of those bugs Which Rom are you using?
I think it was 4.0 RC2 or something. I reverted to GB now.
What does the refresh icon mean?
Your apps are syncing.
Your apps are syncing.
Huh?How?
Huh?How?
Using the internet. :v: It means it's uploading/downloading new data, like new mails or new contacts. You can enable/disable it in Settings->Accounts
Woohoo tons of ICS ROM's dropping for the Epic 4G Touch!
Loving the desktop visualizer app Custom icons fuck year
What's the most stable version of ICS at the moment for the SGS II?
mayby getting it this week, just need too get rid of iphone,
I like you already
Oh gawd lol, for the ones who can't get their eyes off their phone while walking... ...this works when your driving too btw.
That doesn't mean you should use it when driving. In fact, in my country you'll get fined with a hefty amount if the cops see you driving with a phone in hand.
