Does leaving the phone on and plugged in constantly reduce it's battery life when unplugged?
Does leaving the phone on and plugged in constantly reduce it's battery life when unplugged?
Usually the opposite, but it's good to give it a good drain every now and again (at least once I month I think I've heard)
Is there anything lurking in the £150-250 range that's worth considering at the moment?
The title is so true.
Is there anything lurking in the £150-250 range that's worth considering at the moment?
Nexus S @ Carphone warehouse is £200!

Galaxy S II I think is the most powerful and fully featured one at the moment
Galaxy Note :I
What's the best custom ROM for HTC Desire (Bravo/A8181)?
My third Bionic died last night. Time to visit the Verizon store... :suicide:
What's the best custom ROM for HTC Desire (Bravo/A8181)?
Well. You have CyanogenMod 7, which is based on Android 2.3: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/HTC_Desire_(GSM):_Full_Update_Guide Then you may get Android 4.0, which is awesome, but still a tiny bit buggy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1355660 If you like Sense, I strongly recommend Leedroid - the best Sense ROM I ever used, but a bit outdated: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1170633 If you want MIUI, or a newer Sense version, I can't help you, sadly - you will have to find a good ROM by trial and error.
Wow, I've never been in a thread title before, especially in such a popular thread :v:
Finally got cm7 to work, and I have to say. Although it is a bit faster, I liked touchwiz UI a whole lot better.. Also the camera app crashes when making large videos (more than 5 minutes in HD).
But the title is misleading, I'm not much of a fanboy (of anything) and I don't really moan or insult
Wow, I've never been in a thread title before, especially in such a popular thread :v:
You're special son. Now get ready to go to the school for special kids
You're special son. Now get ready to go to the school for special kids
Yes, indeed I am, I'm sooo special  Someone give me a fucking metal
I hate my phone sometimes. I try to install Opera Mobile and all it does is open for a second and crash with no sign of ever running.
But the title is misleading, I'm not much of a fanboy (of anything) and I don't really moan or insult
Yes, you are.
Someone give me a fucking metal
I'm still feeling generous after the Android Bundle, so here you go, a truck of it:
Galaxy S II I think is the most powerful and fully featured one at the moment
It also seems to be the fastest, that Samsung 1.2GHz processor happens to make it faster than the other smartphones with SnapDragon 1.5GHz Therefore, clock speed doesn't mean it's "faster"
Fucking great! Now I have to use Revolutionary clockworkmode install option to access recovery mode. The volume down button is almost disfunctional. ...
Yes, you are.
I feel like I'm not but if you guys say so, I guess I'll look into it more and possible, change?
What's the best custom ROM for HTC Desire (Bravo/A8181)?
I personally use F1 Gingerbread, which is pretty much just 2.3 with no extra sillyness. Smooth as silk, no problems at all. There's also a ICS build available, but I'm waiting for a bit before switching to that as it was a bit unstable when I tried it in the beta 2.* zone. (Plus constant wipes suck)
Does anyone here record their android devices with a camera to make videos on YouTube, or am I the only one around?

Think of it as a security feature so no one can tamper with recovery.
So like to date, which phone has THE BEST camera in terms of taking pictures and video, with the most options?
