• Ctrl + Alt + del to restart

my computer has received multiple upgrades recently including a brand new hard drive. My problem is it wont start (I know this is blurted out a lot) The message : A disk read error has occured ctrl + alt + del to restart WinXP service package3 1.5 GB ram 280 GB Space I dont know what im missing, maybe you could help

wait, you mean you just added a new hard drive? Did you partition it correctly?
I thought this thread was about the webcomic restarting.:ghost: Anyways, did you install an operating system on it? You can always download Linux for free.
Perhaps it's a bad drive. First, make sure the SATA and power wires are firmly inserted. If that doesn't fix it, try temporarily replacing it as your primary drive and install any OS on it (maybe a small one to test). If you can't format or put anything on the drive, then it's DOA, return it for a new one. If it works, then move that back as a secondary drive, boot into windows, and format the secondary drive clean.
