Uh. What's going on with that loop there? [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] Also. Bendy card. lol
Bendy card. lol
Thats why i prefer Verticle mounting cases, because of things like that =P
No, it's that he bought a card with an oversized cooler that really doesn't do much but bend the card.
I just did the impossible; I was able to do nice looking cable management in my Raidmax Smilodon case. Mind you, there literally is no cable management space, so I did some fine tucking and cable routing tricks that make it look nice on the inside. I'll prolly take pictures in a bit to show you all.
Some older photos of my PC, still what it looks like now Full specs The CPU is actually an FX 8120 but i dunno why Speccy shows it like that case is the HAF 922
One very tiny miniscule problem with your PC bulldozer
I hate the look of the RV-03, but the RV-02E is so expensive!
There's like barely any difference between the two besides how the motherboard is installed. The rest is pretty minor externally. But the RV-02 does look a bit cleaner.
The RV-03 looks a little too "gamer" for my preferences. The RV-02 is sex

I don't get why people have cable management troubles, especially those with really good cases. My 690 is horrid for cable management, but I can make it work if I put like an hour of effort into it. I mean if I do it with fucking this Surely some of you can do better. Hell, I even pulled it off with a non modular PSU.
I was really lazy with my cable management. I'm not going to put in much effort until the rest of my Bitfenix cables arrive. Plus I need to buy some more zip ties.
I have a Cooler Master Elite 430. From what I can tell, there's no area behind the mobo to put cables.
It's actually not that bad for cable management. The orientation of your HDD bay means that the HDD data and power cables go straight to the back cavity. You don't have CM holes, but the shortened MB tray acts in basically the same manner. Your case is also generally pretty spacious and it doesn't look like you have many bays full. Still, this stuff doesn't detract from the fact that you actually spent time and effort and ended up with clean look and airflow.
Don't remember if I have posted these yet. I'm going to fix up the cable management once the rest of them arrive.
What is that card-supporting doohickey you have there? I noticed my card was bending the other day and I ordered a cardkeeper, but I like the look of yours better. My thing is plastic and it looks like it will get in the way if I add a second card with heatpipes that go over higher than the top of the PCB.
It came with the case. I'm just using it to cover up the red parts of the two cards.
It came with the case. I'm just using it to cover up the red parts of the two cards.
Can you have the fan on the sidepanel on at the same time?
I have a Cooler Master Elite 430. From what I can tell, there's no area behind the mobo to put cables.
aha no there is lots of room there, if the side doesn't go on, you're not trying hard enough.
Can you have the fan on the sidepanel on at the same time?
Yes.
My attempt at cable management: Behind the backpanel which no longer fits on: Specs: Case: CM 690 II CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE RAM: 4GB DDR3 (2x2GB) MB: ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO HDDs: 1TB SAMSUNG HD103SJ + 2x 500GB Seagate ST3500418AS + 500GB Hitachi Deathstar GPU: XFX 6950
If you moved cables a round and used zip ties it would most likely fit.
Got my new case today, and had the wonderful chore of moving from one case to another - This was my original result: After realising that was ridiculous i started from scratch and it came out like this: I'd say it was mostly successful. Specs of the computer are: Case: CM 690 II Motherboard: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO USB3 CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6870 RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengance HDDs: 3X 500GB 7200m SATA 3Gb/s
Owch, doubt it would be worth it.
It would be nice to not have to turn my PC off every time I leave because of fire.
