• Strange FPS drops after switching games

I've been having this very odd issue with my games lately. When I first turn my computer on and boot up a game, the framerate will be perfectly fine and the game will run smoothly. If I quit the game and open another game my framerate plummets. The issue will keep happening until I restart my computer. I've done scans with Malwarebytes, Avast, and SpyBot but they come up with nothing, and all my drivers are updated. Before Restart [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/NjPwR.jpg[/img_thumb] After Restart [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/YnNQ6.jpg[/img_thumb] It's getting really annoying having to restart the computer every time I want to play a different game or re-open one. Hoping anyone can help me get this sorted out.
Possibly something to do with the temperature, check temps
The graphics and motherboard temps never go above 50°C and the cpu never goes above 40°C, and that's after having the game open for about half an hour.
Have you made sure that the graphics card does not underclock itself?
[QUOTE=techtuts0;36531186]Have you made sure that the graphics card does not underclock itself?[/QUOTE] Just checked with the nvidia control panel and and it isn't underclocked. Says it's still using the factory shipped frequencies.
