• Various Builds Needed

I'm in need of a few various builds, which will be listed below. Please stay within $20 of the budget. No need to include OS. Please Avoid Water Cooling. Also no overly noisy fans on the cheaper builds. Oh and I'm in the US. Thank you for your help. Up to $300- Simple Text Editing and Internet Browsing Computer. Go as low as you want. $500- Media Center Style Computer, must have large HD. $600-700- Low End Gaming System $1500-1700 A Computer made for Processing, build it around the Nvidia Tesla; which runs for about $1000 $2000 High End Gaming System -( http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=10476165 $4000 Extremely Powerful System all around. -( https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/publicWishDetail.aspx?wishlistnumber=14322108 I think I may switch the case to an oil cooled variety just for the sake of fun. Are you making a guide or something? In a situation like this, prices will be out of date in a couple of weeks.
Fuck, gaming systems can be made cheaper than your low end one. I'd recommend trying to build the PC without any combo deals, just incase when somebody orders it there will be no confusion. (Although when they do order it, try to find combo deals with the same specs, so you get more cash.)
I just need a rough representation of what can be bought with what amount of money, the fact that prices change quickly will not be a problem. If needed, one could leave a piece out and say, hey for 75 dollars, I can get a good PSU. Sorry if that's a bit odd. I'm going to be building computers for various individuals around town and I need to know rough values and what can be accomplished with said amounts of cash. Actually, I would like to see this, because I'm doing the exact same thing. But you may not need the 4000 dollar one, since if someone is going to be getting something that good, they probably know how/ are going to learn.
/will buy half-as-good PC from Alien Ware because LED's are pretty
Yeah, I'm guessing that'll happen And I wouldn't call $600-$700 a 'low end gaming system', since people on this board consider that to be about $400

I agree with everything you just said, except for the 2nd one, but that is more of a matter of opinion and preferences than actual fact. I haven't encountered people who buy something too expensive without researching too much, but I do know that they are out there.

There are a lot of people who would gladly throw their money around without doing any research. Even in Wichita. You just have to know people that aren't too impoverished or intelligent. XD
Is anyone working on these builds, or is this thread going to die... NOT ON MY WATCH!... Some people can be so stupid with money these days... :bang:
Is anyone working on these builds, or is this thread going to die... NOT ON MY WATCH!... Some people can be so stupid with money these days... :bang:
I certainly hope not, I'm working piece by piece, finding good cases, PSUs and such, sorting by price. I'll try to post a list of what I find when I'm done. But PLEASE! Keep looking if you are.
How about you look for them and we'll critic them, why should we waste our time making builds that will probably go to waste.
I'll begin to post the wishlists on the first post. Please, critique them and improve upon what is there.
Not working, you need to make the wishlist public.
Hmm. I thought I already did. I'll take a look. [editline]10:52PM[/editline] Should be public now.
Oh lawd. 2 power supplies? Not needed. 2 IDE DVD drives? Just get one SATA. 8GB of RAM? Not needed. You'll want a fan with that CPU cooler. You can get 500GB hard drives that are much better for $60 or less, or you could upgrade to a 1TB Caviar Black for $15 more. Arctic Silver 5 or Arctic Cooling MX-2 are much better. Better PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010

Rather useful when running very many applications at once I've found. If anything, I'd have an option to select 4 or 8 GB.
TWO PSUs? what the fuck
Added another system to the list. I feel like I'm forgetting something on this one though.
$4000 Extremely Powerful System all around. -( http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=7243649
What 2 cases, can't SLI 3 295s, better CPUs are available at this budget (i7, anyone?), better PSUs are available for less. [editline]07:34PM[/editline] Here's one for $2k that will destroy the above one, mostly because it works. https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/publicWishDetail.aspx?wishlistnumber=14322108 P6T, i7 920, 3x GTX 280, 6GB DDR3 1600, 500GB HD, 1000W Corsair, HAF 932, Vista Home Premium w/ Win7 upgrade $2,035 before TS&R.
Biotoxsin what are you doing?
Thanks. I'll simply replace the mine with yours. Much better all around.
Use Prismatex's 2k one, sell it for 4 grand, profit.
Not going to sell it for 4000. That would be ridiculous. Not for 3k, not for 2.5k.
what the hell are you asking? and for what purpose [editline]08:25PM[/editline] are you buying a pc or making a small time business? If: getting a PC state price range and country do some research If: starting a business, if you have to ask others to make builds for you then you probably shouldn't make a business
I'm needing to make some quick money, and I'm rather very short on time, only about an hour a night. I've got servers to tend too, asking for help is the simplest thing to do.
If the people are more wiling to spend in your area the better no one wants to buy in a recession in VA
builds with two cases and buids with 2 PSUs. I would not buy from you. I would run away.
And why no water cooling? most of the people who would spend 4k on a PC would cream themselves at the sight of colored water in their case.
