  • I've started a hammer map, in which the very act of just standing still can kill you. It's supposed to end up as an obstical course that consists of 7 levels of increasing difficulty. (You know, like hell?) I've got the first 2 layers done. Teleporters and elevators and such. But I can't come up with anything else. In short, how would you like to die in garry's mod?   • Some of the worste ways to die... Melons? Yiff? Mingebags? Lost connection? Oh yeah a map... The there are some pretty creative ways of death in that cube map based off the movie, such as wire nets, manhack rooms, lazers, spikes, ect.

Halfquake Amen was pretty popular and 'random, unexplained death' describes that pretty well. :V ...man, I wish Halfquake Sunrise would come out.
  • Electrified water that is slightly lower than the hight of a wooden crate. Have two crates inside the room. Fun!

  • i do like the idea of the electric water, but do a resident evil (1) style laser hall, i played one in css zombie mod and it was fun :D try it, it might work :/
  • Do something unexpected that the player thinks can't happen E.G. sky falling, ground just randomly disappearing ect ect.
  • Do something unexpected with distracting, like player walk down corridor, that ends with a door. in a middle corridor is crossed by beam, that is impossible to dodge. player think that crossing beam will slice him, or make something explode. when he crosses the beam, suddently door breaks and strange machine start throwing sawblades at him!

  • A bridge with 2 Doorways on either side, And a deadly slime pit below. One you reach the middle, Both doors close. Then a giant hammer swings down at you from the roof (Which you can only dodge by getting to the other side quickly enough) that is powered by physics.
