Probably
Events in my life are conspiring against me and I have made limited progress with this. Being a Dad is hard work!
:v:
But they said it was basically finished. 1-2 weeks extended into 6+ months. That's half a year.
Probably two weeks assuming they had lots of available free time is what they meant. Spread that out between a busy schedule and that could easily become more than 6 months.
Why do you people complain so much, it'll be out when it's ready. Chill, yo.
Why do you people complain so much, it'll be out when it's ready. Chill, yo.
Nobody is complaining, we're curious about it because they said it was basically done in January.

Stop quoting that. I get that he's been busy / lazy. But how are we supposed to know that we're not going to have to wait for another 6 months, if all we keep getting is, "busy, almost finished" - and then "almost nothing's been done" 4 months afterward.
Stop quoting that. I get it, he's been busy/lazy. But half a year? Look, how are we suipposed to know we aren't going to wait for another 6 months, if all we keep getting is, "busy, almost finished"? I'm not afraid to admit that I am kind of disapointed, even if it's just a personal, amateur little project.
You're acting like this is something you've paid for or are otherwise entitled to.
You're acting like this is something you've paid for or are otherwise entitled to.
So I'm not allowed to feel let down. Is it not enough that I've been waiting for 2 years?
You're acting like this is something you've paid for or are otherwise entitled to.
No he's not. He's wondering when it's going to come out. He is demanding nothing and wondering if any progress has been made is not the same as entitlement.
No he's not. He's wondering when it's going to come out. Who knows, just my opinion.
Spacewolf: Peacekeeper of GH3 thread.
Spacewolf: Peacekeeper of GH3 thread.
I'll debate every single one of you bring it
spacewolf, outside sources indicate that you're a swell guy and people here are ok with you, what're your comments on this developing situation? [editline]4th July 2014[/editline] can somebody get me a napkin I think there's some brown on my nose

and there you have it folks. :v: [editline]4th July 2014[/editline] Does Breadman ever come around here anymore? Everything aside I am genuinely curious what the story is by this point.
He's dead your next
GMOD 13 is discouraging a lot of builders and content-producers. It changed the entire community, and SteamPipe basically wrecked hammer for a while, so I find no surprise in Breadman being so dormant. Hell, the game doesn't even feel FUN anymore.
Wouldn't mind an update tho'
I feel like gmod12 was on the decline but could've stabilized, then gmod13 just sort of kicked off all of those who were happy with their niche but weren't it it just for the game in general. Probably mostly because of how much it broke, then at the same time how it became inviting for a whole new group of less than tolerable players.
Right on the money.
Right in the ghostpussy! Bread is active, but aint posting it seems. The waiting...continues!
bredman pls
This is the part where we start spreading rumors about his death.
Although it'd be nice if he gave a update post (especially in regards to GH3 and what has happened to it)in this thread, he did post two days ago on https://www.facebook.com/BreadmansMaps saying that he had some downtime and was working on Hartley Asylum. So, he's not dead. Just busy?
fuk So close... maybe next time...
Oh Facepunch. I haven't forgotten you! How misguided, for I love thee! I can see you've all been going a little crazy - fitting seen as I've been working on Hartley recently. The thing with Ghosthunt 3 is that it is currently with the Synergy team. Now, I hardly ever get any downtime these days and when I do I like to do my own shit. (I'M AN ADULT) I've spoken with one of the guys at Synergy explaining that I may have to pass the torch with Ghosthunt 3. In this post right here I will divulge my feelings surrounding this potential decision. Ghosthunt 3 burnt me out. I mapped for months, day after day of trying to get things right. It's a huge map and it's filled with new and complicated events. It took me forever to test them without having people run away with the map (this actually happened with ghosthunt 2 right at the end of dev.) I had a limited group of trusted friends who also have busy lives. Half way through due to issues in-game, Garry's Mod stopped being a potential release platform. This ruined my shit. I became demotivated and turned my attention to Hartley Asylum. When I got the offer to release it with Synergy, some of those sparks came back and I busied myself with it for a while but I always found myself going back to work on Hartley. Now we're what, two years down the line? I haven't thought about Ghosthunt 3 for months. But what I have been doing is working on Hartley. It gets me way more excited. It's decent, it has narrative, it scares me during testing, the events are more complicated than ever (no multiplayer environment). It has puzzles, drama and plenty of ghosts. The development with Hartley is so much smoother. Smaller maps with a lot going on in them. I can come home from work tired, dead-eyed and angry - and by the end of the evening feel as though I've achieved something by working on these smaller and more intricate maps. Ghosthunt 3 is pretty much done bar polish but I agreed with the Synergy team that It would be released with the newest version of Synergy near the end of this year along with Ghosthunt 1 & 2 - and that is why you haven't seen it. If things were different, maybe I would just release it as it is. I do apologise though, for the lack of communication. (Take a fuckin' leaf out of MY book VALVE.) I'm a very busy man. I am working as I type this. If I could live off of making maps I would but until that happens I will have to continue working and being as busy as I am. I am overwhelmed though, with the support that you still insist on giving me. And for that I shall give you more information about Hartley and screenshots. Many of them. Tonight. (GMT)

(GMT)
You shouldn't feel bad though, everyone needs a break if you have a very busy schedule. You are doing something with your life right there, and working on securing a decent future for your wife and kid. I am just sitting here in my room like a sack of shit. I simply have too much time on my hands. I wish I was able to help you to relieve your pressure, and I'm not saying that because I want to play or something.
