And there is no difference between rp_ and gm_ other than the name, right? Another possibilty would be sb_ , but that's rather silly for an indoor map... That also means that you can dial all off-world gates from each off-world gate. Furthermore it probably would annoy people (including me) to have to wait for a certain planet to come in "range". Especially since I set the FTL timer to three minutes. I still look for a way to at least disable the destiny's stargate for that given time...

The doors open slower. But I didn't update the other doors yet, only one for testing.   • ^^ i know it's far from being ready, but incase you add the icarus base as part of the map,... some effects upon dialing the destiny might be a fit to the map... lightnings 'n flashes perhaps :D

  • when the players go through the gate to destiny when they come out of the gate do they like jump forward a few feet to be like the first episode when they first arrived? And this might sound stupid but it is the cas with some maps, does the gate dial 9 chevrons or just 7 becuse if you are dialling icarus to the Destiny then 7 chevrons is going to seem unrealistic, so are you going to use avon's coded 7 or make your own 9?

Everytime I tried it, the player gets catapulted almost to the end of the room, as there is not enough friction to slow the player down. Sadly, real world physics ≠ game physics. As for the 9-address gate: No. I have neither skill nor ambition to create a new gate model with seperated chevrons, recode Avons addon and do all this just for this one case where you travel from gate A to gate B.

  • and make that big circle room witch have a hole and it's venting atmosphere and when you go in u get 1p out of you life for every second .And if you move the gate more to the middle of the room the jumper wont stuck.And if you make that planet with the crashed ship.and to ask can i go arround the ship with a jumper maybe? And can you release a beta the people can't wait anymore.Because we have SGC map Atlantis map and now we are waiting for YOU to release the Destiny map so could you release a beta

  • Well he first needs to finish it to a point where he can say oke this is playable, so don't rush it we want quality not stuff that is fast done, so yea take the time you need to make beta or so.
