perhaps it isn't necessary at this point, but just incase i'd like to offer a bit of help with re-/ texturing... well... the changes i did to the event horizon and the retexture for the pegasus gate (-[URL="http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=90840"]link[/URL]-) sure weren't such a big deal, as i just made some minor changes after all... but hey, it was quite fun to work on it anyway:)
Hi! Do you guys remember when I started talking about a small project by me for this map? It has changed from an apartment to a lab, and will maybe not be released in the next version. Wall texture makes me cry.
Them wall textures look like something from UT99... In my opinion anyway.

We really could do with your (and anyone with skills) help on textures - we have several skilled modellers and mappers but only a few of us dabble in textures - mattster is turning out some nice ones but we can still use anything good you produce. Ive got an idea that I started to make yesterday, an ancient shipyard. Posting pictures when I get home on Sunday.
hey heres pics of my medi bay, 'still not finished'. There are a couple of rooms incuding two bed rooms, an office room and a corridor. Am making new props for the bay like microscopes, medi selfs and other stuff. After seeing that and the medibay, I can't wait for future updates! (take your time, of course. I'm just generally impatient. :p ) I assume there's going to be a space version as well as an "on-planet" version like you've got here? Or what will you do with this?
ok...something from my side, concerning the wall texture from dije's lab a few seemed to have a problem with it (can't tell why)... and so i took some time in gimp and co.... so that's what it looks like after some time: [I]ps[/I]: the image down here has a simple bump-map , so that it doesn't look that flat and of course there's a seperate _normal file aswell to simulate depth... by the way...i'm not sure whether the texture aligns itself correctly at the edges, when stringed together... looks awesome when can we ekspact it done and can you make the chair room so it can fire drones and make like the drone room like the one from the other atlantis keep up the good work

BEAUTIFUL! I just downloaded v16 and both are just WONDERFUL! Flyboi did a wonderful job with the Ancient Satellite Weapon. I didn't expect to be able to "dock" the Jumper, but he left enough space to back it in and fall into the satellite (and to be honest, it felt a lot like rewatching the scene where McKay practically falls out of the Jumper when Grodin (sp?) reactivates the artificial gravity. lol.). And the sandbox version!! It looks so much more like the show's version but I don't know why. Maybe it's the look of being on top of an ocean during the broad daylight? It definitely leads to some [i]beautiful[/i] scenery not possible with a space version. And finally micropro did a great job on the conference table and any props he did. (I can say that safely because they [i]all[/i] look wonderful, no matter who did them.) Keep up the excellent work everyone!
Very nice work! I'll remake the lab and make some other rooms when I get home, and of course I will download this map. Bunglist, if you want, you can put the sandbox version on my server if you want.

Not really, I was more thinking of a Shipyard, in space. Where you could build spacebuild ships.

Remember we already have enough to fit into this map staying only with what was in the TV show. Also, space (on the map) is nearly full now, the only thing we could still fit in is the asteroid mining base I had planned a while back. In the show there was an undersea mining base, so it follows that there could also be an asteroid mining base (similar in design to the undersea one).
I don't suppose there's room on the sandbox version for you to add the mainland?
