It's been driving me nuts that it takes me to the first page instead of the recent posts.
One thing that is universal in almost all websites: clicking on a time stamp will take you directly to what was posted in that timestamp. There's no reason to do it differently, so why is it different?
To quote the almighty
My real issue with Lua is the syntax. It’s different for the sake of being different.
The ! isn’t used anywhere else on Lua, so there’s no real reason for them to use ~ other than to be contrary.
So, why is facepunch doing something different with where links lead?
but the timestamp isnt clickable
No one ever said this was on purpose and would stay that way, why do you guys think that beating someone over the head with a historic quote will unlock some achievement?
To quote the almighty garry himself:
Your goal should be to hurt the people that have hurt you not with angry words or violence, but with your achievements.
Doesn't hurt to try :P
I don't really know what I was thinking with that post though, just wanted to emphasize it I guess? It was 13 whole hours ago, anyone's guess is as good as mine.
I think it's because this feature req has been mentioned a number of times to no response
But why does no response equal to it never being done and Garry hates us?
