•
What's your demographic age bracket?
I was actually thinking.. 6-13, or even 6-16. I have not entirely planned it out, as I have yet to set rules for the community yet.
 •
why should people use your service
It isn't a service. It's going to be a hangout, like Habbo - or Club Penguin.

 • Creating a website or service aimed at the age bracket is quite a grey area. You have to be very careful otherwise it will end up getting infiltrated with paedophiles and you could risk being prosecuted by angry parents. Also, registering at any online forum at under the age of 13 requires parent or guardian permission.
 • I like the block on internet explorer. I'd probably push more for the user to install chrome, but since i cant get on chrome at this exact moment, i shall remain silent. Darn
 • Haha, blocking IE on such a website is like 80% of viewers told to go away. Great service.
 • 1. Make a MVC (Model, View Controller). 2. Make helpers, library's (google). 3. Make a good MYSQL Database structure. 4. Start simple like i did, http:///www.games-mix.nl/forum

 • For lower age brackets you could have a system in which parents can create create a 'parent' account and tie it to 'child' accounts. The parent account could act as a moderator and filter for their children's accounts. You could then market strongly to parents concerned about their child's safety.

The parent's account is tied to the kid's account. Anything their kid does, their parent can look at in a history, or something - maybe it emails them once in a while with a block of history?
