• Meh, going back to the old detection then. (uh. I lost it. gotta rewrite) It's just weird because I have no problems. Edit: Alright, redownload and tell me if it works now.
Weird bug here. Every time the game starts, after a while it just makes a sound like a gunshot, starts playing the game-over music, the blocks all fall down and when they're gone it's game over.
What do you mean "after a while"?
 • You should add a way to restart the game or go back to the main menu while playing.
 • 1.4: added a way to restart the game or go back to the main menu while playing. (escape)
 • I repacked the .love file so I could run it on linux it used up all my RAM
 •
Reminds me of this: http://xkcd.com/724/
Someone made that. http://www.geekosystem.com/xkcd-tetris-hell-game/ Physics aren't as good in that though :D
 •
Is there any particular strategy for this?
Try to stack them without leaving any space I guess. Pretty much like real tetris! Edit: Added a version without sound because it isn't working for some. And I hope it's not my fault. Can someone please tell me what their experience with any sound problem is? I can't recreate it.
 •
Went to record video to show the problem->Problem fixed itself? :v:
That's a problem that occurs often in quantum physics, and a lot of my projects. When they're monitored they start behaving like they're supposed to.
 •
That's a problem that occurs often in quantum physics, and a lot of my projects. When they're monitored they start behaving like they're supposed to.
Didn't it not work for you too?
 •
Didn't it not work for you too?
At first, with the previous version. Now it works fine.
 • It bugs out sometimes, like blocks will go back to the top and it will keep looping sounds.
 • holding down crashes it and if you stack them badly it'll play the landing sound constantly Edit: Strange can't get it to crash again
 • Highest score I could get was 30. This game is TORTURE man :byodood:
 • Haha this is awesome fun. Did you plan to make that pacman one suggested in WAYWO?
 • It hurts me to play this. And I can't stop. That game ended with me at 3100.
 •
I try to start it up, and all I get is a blank white screen with a black cursor.
I really can't help you there. Did you compile it yourself? Are you running a weird OS? Do you have the included .dlls too?
It wont work for me.
That's useful information. And the soundbug thing: I had a few times too now. I really can't find the reason. I'll keep looking. Also expect Not Tetris 2 with actual line clearing and super cool cutting pieces in the future (or not).
 •
Crashes immediately on Win7 64 bit.
Not for me it doesn't.
 • For me neither. Sorry guys, I just can't seem to help you. It seems to be a löve issue. (the engine)
 • This game is really fun but when you rotate the blocks, why do they keep spinning?
 •
This game is really fun but when you rotate the blocks, why do they keep spinning?
Making it challenging. I actually had a stop rotation key (up) but it made it kind of blunt.
My high score was 32 and then it crashed.
What'd you do? edit: 36 blocks :)
 •
What'd you do?
To me, this sometimes just happens right before the "game over" screen.
