I think I'm going to pass, and this is why: The feature list. Something must be wrong if all that are Enhancements and Features. Those are standard in today's fare. It just reeks of shoddy console port. I may rent it for Xbox though
They are Enhancements and features because they were added when they ported it.

It runs perfectly fine on the highest settings with a AMD Phenom II X6 1100T and a Radeon HD 6870. As for the game itself, it's fucking amazing, worth every penny.
My favorite part while playing it on the 360 was the Stage defense part.
i know, mine is too but for some reason steam thought it was 104mb before it started downloading
steam has never estimated downloads properly it thought rage was 600mb
Damn the Steam servers are being raped by MW3
I'm buying it when I get my money back for Gotham City Impostors. [editline]16th February 2012[/editline] Apparently you can get the Steam version 30% off on http://www.greenmangaming.com with the coupon code "HALFT-ERMHO-RRORS".
I can refund that terrible game? How?
I've wanted to play this for ages. So glad it's released for PC now.
Oh hey, this crap finally came out for PC, probably just an over priced laggy port of.... "Free collectors edition and DLC with it, only $30" God damnit. Fine, take my money.
Grabbed it. I'm a sucker for horror-themed shooters, and I just finished Resident Evil Revelations...
Finally!
steam has never estimated downloads properly it thought rage was 600mb
When I bought Skyrim it thought it was 81GB before I restarted it
I'm pissed since I bought the xbox version 5 months ago after giving up all hope of ever seeing a PC version. Re-bought it anyway, totally worth it.
Best. Battle music. Ever. If you haven't played the game I'd suggest not listening to it. It doesn't spoil anything per se, but it might ruin the awesomeness of the segment of the game when you get to it. That said, amazing game, if I had the cash on hand I'd buy it right now.
I'm going to buy it on steam and the collectors edition, I love this game that much.
I'm a wuss and I get scared by the smallest things. Will I shit my pants playing this?
I'm a wuss and I get scared by the smallest things. Will I shit my pants playing this?
You'll be fine, it's more tense than 'jump in your face' scary. Dont miss out of such a great game.
You'll be fine, it's more tense than 'jump in your face' scary. Dont miss out of such a great game.
Except for the scene where [sp]you were running up a hill, dodging falling train cars, but once it stopped, you had to go up another hill and then out of no where BAM train car in your face.[/sp] that scared the shit out of me
Okay so yesterday I used a coupon code to get the special edition for $23 on GMG. Now the games not listed on their site at all. I came here to let you guys know about the deal, but apparently they don't sell the game anymore. HALFT-ERMHO-RRORS That code still works on their other horror games right now. If Alan Wake comes back be sure to try it.
Well, just tried the game out. Runs very smoothly on medium settings, and I'm actually below minimum specifications (well, for the processor). Appears to be a well-ported game!
It was basically ported to Xbox since it was originally developed for PC if I remember correctly. They probably keep the structure the same from the original.

$30... even for Australia? hell fucking yeah I'm buying this.
$30... even for Australia? hell fucking yeah I'm buying this.
dear god...
21€ with all the DLCs and collectors extras? I love Remedy.
$30... even for Australia? hell fucking yeah I'm buying this.
It's 21 bucks in the rest of the world :(
I wish I knew about this steam deal way back. I rented the game on a friends xbox, and since I wouldn't be able to get the DLC and didn't expect a PC release I just watched a youtube playthrough of them. Well fuck.
I was going to buy this for the great price on GMG but it isn't there, shame :(
