It's already on Xbox, for 4,000 M$ Points
lol apparently $50 = £40 That's almost twice as much as I paid for the game itself, for some dog tags and expansions.
lol apparently $50 = £40
Fuck that. It's not like they're losing anything from distribution costs so they could make cheaper than that in the UK.
lol apparently $50 = £40
50.00 USD= 32.5103 GBP But yeah, it's quite pricey. Then again, it's an EA product so what else to expect.
You're paying a lot more for a lot less content than originally with the core-game. What a joke and easy way to take people's money.

Eh, i'd probably do it for the dlc discount if I had the cash. Plus I could play Close Quarters today since I have it for the PS3.
I thought it was cool that you're getting 5 DLCs with it. Then I realized only two of them were map packs, and small ones at that.
I'm not buying. Knowing them, these maps were supposed to be included in the first release, only chopped for DLC. They will take months to fix basic bugs too. No thanks EA
Each map pack is %15 ($25 here in Aus) This is $50 If you intend on continuing playing BF3 and want the expansions, this is what to get. There is said to be 5 expansions for it. 15x5=$75 (25x5=125) Saving of $25 (or Saving $75 in Aus) TL;DR its cheaper just for those who don't want to do maths ;) Although I reckon it will cost more in Australia because EA
Wow. Why can't they at least release the DLC in one big pack. It's bullshit having to pay as much as the game costs for DLC. This whole "DLC fad" is bullshit.

Lol 50euro, no fucking way, if it was 50 dollars I would start saving and actually get it. What a fucking ripoff
What the fuck, I'm getting an update for the 360 version that's over 2GB. What the hell are they including in it!?
Still not as bad as Call of Duties glorified stat tracker and map packs, I'm not buying this as I would rather get Guild Wars 2 for only 10 dollars more.
idk why people are so hard up on comparing it "positively" to CoD Elite when it's basically the same thing.
idk why people are so hard up on comparing it "positively" to CoD Elite when it's basically the same thing.
Yeah to be fair, they really are the same thing. Battlefield has now gone the way of CoD :(
Wow because a company shouldn't want to make money in a capitalist society by releasing 5 expansion packs for 50 dollars which adds to the game. Wow, some people are just utter fools, stop complaining, don't buy it or if you can't afford it; get a job.

What the hell is everyone whining for? You get custom camos and aesthetic shit if you like that, access to all the DLC's which saves you $25 and even two weeks early access to the DLC. If you can see yourself playing Battlefield 3 for a long time, why wouldn't you buy this? It's good for the DLC alone.
What bothers me is that premium members get queue priority into servers, or, at least that's what the in-game store tells me.
Honestly I don't actually know why this is such a big deal. Other than the beta and the first month of BF3 I've probably waited in a queue maybe once.

This is getting overused, and a lot
Frankly, in the US at least, since you're essentially pre-ordering all the DLC expansions along with some foofy cosmetic stuff and more challenges, I'm mostly ok with this. What I would like before I spend any money would be for the price to drop 15$ since I went out and bought BTK.
I didn't have a problem with the concept of it but £40 is fucking pants on head retarded, £30 is the max acceptable price for a full game IMO [editline]5th June 2012[/editline] I'm going to try to buy it through a US proxy
When they announced the release on E3 you could feel how fake the clapping was.
