Settled my nerves completely about the game This one here is a bit more in depth: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/349919/previews/hitman-absolution-hands-on-with-the-nun-free-e3-demo/
I was worried it's going to be all slutty fucking nuns.

This game is going to be awesome

Oh man I can't wait to just drop a bomb in the middle of the crowd and detonate it just to see what happens.
only concerning (and hilarious) thing to me was that knife throw on the dude 20 yards away lmao
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
Glad you read the article.
And when the game comes out, and it's full of action, I'll link back to this thread.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
Seriously? Did you even read the article or watch the video? I was one of the people who hated the look of this game but christ it looks great now.
I read it, but I just don't have faith in what's being portrayed. What I've seen is everyone worrying about it, them posting some 'stealthy' media, and when it comes out it will be much more action-focused than previous games. [editline]1st June 2012[/editline] I probably should've wrote that in my first post, to not make it sound so naive. Oh well.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
anybody who thinks Hitman is about anything other than choice shouldn't be talking about it. the explosions are there because you get to make a plan that needs explosions, because that's what Hitman is all about; carefully planning each scenario to ensure the only possible outcome is the player succeeding. if there were absolutely no explosions people wouldn't be able to make plans that required them, and that, rather than enhancing gunplay or making action a more viable approach, would be betraying the heart of the series. if you're complaining about any of the ways you can approach a situation, you're playing the wrong game.
and when it comes out it will be much more action-focused than previous games.
And you still didn't read the article.
The only thing I didn't like was the knife throwing and animations when wielding the knife. All that flipping and stuff. Looks too hong kong/hollywood-esque. But that's a minor thing I guess.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
I think you forgot about all the bombs and automatic weapons in the previous hitman games. Also Hitman isn't about being stealthy, it's about getting the job done in any damn way you fucking want, stealth being one of those ways.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
are you serious explosions have been in hitman since forever vintage year? the new orleans one?
I was worried it's going to be all slutty fucking nuns.
Yeah because the only thing that has been shown about this game besides this, is slutty nuns. [editline]1st June 2012[/editline]
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
You clearly never played Hitman.
are you serious explosions have been in hitman since forever vintage year? the new orleans one?
I can't tell you the number of times I've played Vintage Year. Hell, I've tried every possible thing in that mission. I've gone the completely silent route, I've just walked in guns blazing, and I've even used explosives. There's about 1000 different ways to complete that mission, and that's what Hitman is all about. Choice.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
I'm sorry but this is Hitman not Splinter Cell. There has always been a level of brutality present in this series.
Sigh. Hitman was about being stealthy, not... explosions or any of this.
Hitman was never really about sneaking around in dark corners being all stealthy and shit, it was about blending in.
The biggest thing still bothering me is they didn't bring David Bateson back for 47...........that was a fucking huge mistake.
Looks like ill be getting this, still disappoint about 47's voice actor though.
Looks like ill be getting this, still disappoint about 47's voice actor though.
Not to mention the lack of Jesper Kyd. The music that I heard was disappointing.
Can't really complain about his voice actor. He barely talked in the previous games. It's not really something I'd make a fuss about.
Can't really complain about his voice actor. He barely talked in the previous games. Can't fucking wait. It's sad about the music artist and voice actors being changed from the different games after being used to them for so long, but I'll just have to get used to it.
