I know plenty of Muslims, Christians and Jews who all would never hurt a fly and are either very intelligent and/or tolerant people. There is absolutly NOTHING wrong in the way of this mosque.
Ok this is getting really annoying, clarify this: Who do you have a problem with so far as this mosque goes? You seem to be tilting at some imaginary muslim windmills, and no "threat" that's based in reality.

When you work in a religious establishment, you're a priest, the lowest, most pathetic lifeform on earth. You don't contribute ANYTHING to society, you just take and take whilst people praise your every word to fullest extent. I'm sorry if you can't see the concept in a more neutral way, rather than the happyfuzzyletsallbefriends kind of way.

Your problem is with organized religion as a whole. Now what, beyond that general problem, do you have against this mosque?

Seemed abit mockful at first, but I thought "Mehh, it's not like it's gonna bring those people back, is it?"
Nothing, really. Seemed abit mockful at first, but I thought "Mehh, it's not like it's gonna bring those people back, is it?"
Well ok then, just wanted to clear that up.
Well ok then, just wanted to clear that up.
Oh, fair enough.
It is, since I've been religious, the entire thing is just an emotional extortion, they pressure you into handing in cash so they can live life as one giant freebie.
Wait, so you were religious when you wee younger so you know know what people are thinking? uhhh
When you work in a religious establishment, you're a priest, the lowest, most pathetic lifeform on earth. Many criminals have seeked rehabilitation from preists and its worked. ITT. Idiots thinking that Muslims caused 9/11. Muslims build a Mosque. Shitstorm.
Hey starpluck, did Timothy McVeigh bomb in the name of God? No. Did that guy fly a plane into the IRS building in the name of God? No. Did the Jihadi hijackers fly a plane into the WTC in the name of their God? Yes.
Jihadi is not a word. also you're a silly person.

Al-Qaeda Cells and the Taliban don't like the US foreign policies in the middle east. Also not once in their videos/statements did they say the US had to worship Allah.
Jihadi is not a word. also you're a silly person.
I wish he'd post more often. He was quite entertaining. Bin Laden said the attacks will continue until you discontinue your foreign policy in the Middle East (Israel e.g). Not "until you believe in Allah".
This. Bin Laden said the attacks will continue until you discontinue your foreign policy in the Middle East (Israel e.g). Not "until you believe in Allah".
So it's against foreign politices, eh? :smug:
What's a politices?
So it's against foreign politices, eh? :smug:
What are you even trying to say?
What are you even trying to say?
:geno: I honestly do not know...

Haha took me awhile to realize that's supposed to be a bomb with a fuse sticking out.
I would be annoyed if they built it ON ground zero as thats dropping hints but its not People are acting like the muslims thought "Lets be dicks and build a mosque at the site were people who happened to be muslims destroyed a building"
and why's that? FYI, islam had nothing to do with 9/11 I take it you oppose any churches being built next to where the alfred p. murrah building was?
The Swastika and it's meaning didn't kill the Jews, but that doesn't change it's tainted image now does it? Islam has been tainted just like the swastika has been tainted by the Nazi's. For centuries the swastika was a symbol of good luck and fortune, and the Nazis were able to corrupt it's meaning through their war and genocide. The Same can be said for Islam. For centuries it was a peaceful religion, and Islamic Terrorists were able to taint it through their atrocities. Islam had nothing to do with 9/11, jihad in the name of Islam had everything to do with it.
So by your logic, Christianity has been tainted by the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, and the actions of missionaries in the New World?
Yes. Because those are some of the reasons why I don't trust it anyway. So the point still stands.
So by your logic, Christianity has been tainted by the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades, and the actions of missionaries in the New World?
Yeah at one point they were. A sufficient amount of time has gone by to repair their image, though Roman Catholics aren't looking so good. When I see the pope I think Emperor Palpitine and depending on the priest i see a pedophile. For the most part I look at christianity with a negative view point. People like the Westboro Baptists and the folks that run those jesus camp really give christianity a bad image.

Not ever priest is a paedophile, but you're making them out to be.
except YOU'RE stereotyping them. Not ever priest is a paedophile, but you're making them out to be.
No shit. Nothing wrong with minor stereotyping, if we didn't have prejudices we'd be dead. I never said I saw ALL people like that. Think of it this way; You're walking down a dark ally and you see a thug walking towards you. Naturally you become afriad and thing his intent may be to harm you, even though he might be the nicest guy you'd ever meet. It's the same principle.
I don't really care if it gets built anymore. The second it's built some moron's gonna go in there and raze it.

I'm in an alley where thugs hang out and rob people. Perhaps in a bad neigbourhood. Is it light out? Dark out? with a priest, there are thousands of them, and only a handful are paedophiles. Regardless, it's not even a majority.
