http://collateralmurder.com/
WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff.
Basically it's a gun cam video from an apache helicopter that fired at an unarmed group of people, killing them, and injuring 2 children.
That's war for you. I don't think it's an isolated atrocity at all. (tasteless joke below. it's a mistake but I'm not removing it - instead I'm going to articulate above.) I guess their efforts at diplomacy just got "shot down"
Anyone who defends this shit is a blatant nationalist.
Wow. This is just sick. Do you think Youtube would remove it?
I cringed when he said 'I think I just drove over a body'. Then they both laughed at it.
I guess their efforts at diplomacy just got "shot down"
:barf:
They shouldn't have been armed. So they got fucked up.
They shouldn't have been armed. So they got fucked up.
Are you stupid? Yeah because Reuters and children are all armed. [editline]06:47PM[/editline] Watch the video before you post
That's horrifying, And absolutely nobody in the video seemed to care that they just killed all of those people.
They shouldn't have been armed. So they got fucked up.
They were just waiting for the photographer to brandish a weapon - trigger-happy bastards.
They thought the camera's were weapons. And what about the guy crouching around the corner? Those soldiers have to protect themselves and if it even looks like somebody has a weapon they're going to fuck him up.
They shouldn't have been armed. So they got fucked up.
You are defending this?
Good ol' Wikileaks. They're out of money and still releasing stuff.

They could see that he had no weapon when he dived. They didn't have to shoot on him.
Donate to WL you fuckers

Murderers.
guncam on a 30mm is the most awesome thing since sliced bread. AH-64 is fucking amazing. And the 30mm throwing that truck about. Impressive.
That was horrible to watch. :saddowns:

alright hahaha i hit em what in the sweet fucking fuck
Not really surprised. Soldiers make mistakes.
The biggest question is why journalists feel it's safe to be that close to a war zone and why they had children with them in the first place. This incident is a tragedy and a mistake not a full blown cold blooded murder by the hands of American soldiers.

They didn't just set up shop in the middle of a battlefield.
??? They didn't just set up shop in the middle of a battlefield.
Yes they were there to report, they were employees of Reuters.
I'm pretty sure the children were just people who lived there.

Its not like the Reuters staff and children ran and jumped in the middle of it all. The helicopter brought danger to them.
Thanks for the GIF, benzi2k7. The subtitles make me sick, those soldiers should be charged with murder.
That camera is totally an AK47 or an RPG.
