"The Dude", perhaps, or "Scar", maybe - anything is possible in the world of your imagination, after all... but there's no way we'd actually do anything about it.So it's with grudging respect that we bring to you the news that a 23-year-old American man who used to go by the name of Tyler Gold has now forgone the whole nickname malarky and legally changed his name to 'Tyrannosaurus Rex'.Mr. Gold - now Mr. Rex - went to York County Courthouse in Nebraska to change his name "because the (T-Rex designation) is cooler," reports The New York Times. "Also, as an entrepreneur, name recognition is important and the new name is more recognisable."Judge Alan Gless was keen to double check on whether he was trying to avoid either the law or creditors, but Mr. Rex said no, he wasn't.What this means, of course, is that with just a little bit of legal back-and-forth, a Tyrannosaurus Rex now roams the earth - but whether he'll pull his wrists up to his chest all the time remains to be seen. Fingers crossed, eh?And for another extraordinary naming story, head this way to meet everyone's favourite criminal, Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-Bop-Bop. This man is now awesome.
Watch as everybody calls him "Ty" which is a complete normal name. But beeing called Mr. Rex would sound kind of funny/cool :v:
rrerr I'd be careful during trips to any sort of jurassic park though...
First that lady with a half a mile long name, now this.
I wonder what his girlfriend would say to him: "Is that a T-Rex in your pants or are you happy to see me?" :quagmire:
I hope he names his kids after dinosaurs too
Mr.Rex, what an awesome last name.
Shepard.
Shepard.
Rex.
I hope he names his kids after dinosaurs too
Urdnot Rex. Heh heh.
I wonder how he is in bed :v:
Would be more fitting if he had short, stubby arms.
His friend's name is probably Gordon Shepard. "Rex." "Shepard." "Rex." "Shepard.
I wonder how he is in bed :v:
Ferocious but not very flexible.
I wonder how he is in bed :v:
Not very good with his hands.
At the end of Monday’s hearing, Gold’s name was officially changed to Tyrannosaurus Rex Joseph Gold.
http://www.yorknewstimes.com/news/article_e9991cb6-9860-11e1-aff3-0019bb2963f4.html That is so awesome.
He has every reason now to roar.
As long as he doesn't fart we're going to be ok.
Sounds like a name a pornstar would have.
I still prefer Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine Hulk And The Flash Combined

"at least he knows how to use his horn"
oh shit its my neighbor T. Rex
