Two juveniles face charges of aggravated arson in connection with a deadly Tennessee wildfire that began in late November and spread to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, according to Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Additional charges are being considered, 4th District Attorney General James Dunn said, including the possibility of seeking a transfer to adult criminal court. He said the youths were from Tennessee, but not from Sevier County, where the fires started. Neither their ages nor genders were released. Fourteen people lost their lives in the fires and a further 134 were injured, according to officials. Residents and visitors to the resort-heavy area were among the dead. The fires gnawed away over 1,600 structures, scorching homes, cabins and churches along a fiery path through Sevier County.
Fuck these kids. Killed 14 people, destroyed 1600 buildings. So it was an arson? Jesus, I wouldn't want to be either of those two kids right now.
Oh boy, those two are six kinds of fucked.
Oh boy, those two are six kinds of fucked.
What kind of sentence do you think they'll face if found guilty?
What kind of sentence do you think they'll face if found guilty?
Not sure. Would those 14 deaths count as murder? If so then I'd say they'll be pretty fucked. And honestly I don't feel bad for these two unless it was an accident. Their actions caused so many innocent deaths and destroyed massive amounts of property.

More like a manslaughter charge, what degree i don't know.
Any sources say how they started the fire? I am curious what they were doing.
What kind of sentence do you think they'll face if found guilty?
Which sentence, the one the courts mete out or the ones that Gatlinburg residents will mete out if they get the chance? It's probably in the accuseds' best interests to remain in custody, to put it simply.

The article goes on about all the possible charges but nothing definite since they are juveniles.
