Except the shadow clipping, which is annoying as fuck. Thankfully PC won't have that shit.
Well, it will. But waaay out in the distance.
Ah, I see a developer who wants to thicken their wallet by providing an exclusive demo(360) and not catering to there original customers(PC)... well played Crytek, well played...
Could be Microsoft screwing everybody else over again.
Yeah, it could be, but I just hope Crytek doesn't forget it's roots and just ignores the PC community.

Keeping a narrow window to just one system doesn't help out too much.
the game isn't exclusive to one platform hell, the demo is probably just a timed exclusive, microsoft has paid for that shit before
Never said it was exclusive to one platform but okay, but I will admit I am wrong for jumping to conclusions saying they will never release a demo for any other system(Like you mentioned a time exclusive). And about (Pulling statistic out of my arse) 90% of the time when it is an exclusive it is probably Microsoft flashing some cash at a developer. (Note to self: Do not post on FP while tired, you sound like an ass with grammatical mistakes.)
Meh, I was expecting an Alien team VS People with nanosuits.
Well, it will. But waaay out in the distance.
Yeah, 1 or 2 thousand times further than on the consoles, even then it doesn't clip them, they just begin to fade out. Just like most games on the PC.
So, there's a demo out tommorow? I guess its time for me to trudge out my 360
looks like halo in a nearer future.
Agh, a game that I'll have a hard time choosing between console or PC. My friends will want it for console, but I'll want it on PC. I'll probably end up getting it for my 360 if the demo is nice tomorrow.
Hell yes, download is already out. 25%
I played it. It was awesome. They streamlined the combat A LOT, the graphics were pretty awesome, and you could use a fucking ORBITAL LASER. The only problem I have with the game is that there are many times where it feels like your character is wearing paper armor compared to the enemy, especially when you can practically get killed in one melee if Armor isn't on. I'm sure it'll be a lot more fun on the PC though.
I really hope that it's less CoD and more Neotokyo.
I'm not even gonna load the xbox demo, even if I have to wait for the PC release.
I've played it now. It's basically Crysis 1 multiplayer with smaller map(s), and every Call of Duty feature you can imagine put in the game (with a few from other games too) Killstreaks, perks, weapon classes, hologram shield from Halo Reach etc. Still buying it for PC for the single player.
So the suit got downgraded from large scale battle use to close quarter only?
Fun fact, when you treat your customers good, you make more PROFIT. Keeping a narrow window to just one system doesn't help out too much.
They will make profit anyways, they dont care what you say about them.

I heard they dumbed down the graphics so the consoles could run it. Is it true?
I heard they dumbed down the graphics so the consoles could run it. Is it true?
No, they dumbed down the console version. The pc version looks way better, has higher res textures and all that jazz.
Damn i can't wait for Crysis and Cryengine 3 ! This year is gonna be so good in PC gaming!!
I heard they dumbed down the graphics so the consoles could run it. Is it true?
Obviously. Just played the demo, it looks terrible compared to PC graphics. It looks alright for console I guess. Texture pop ins and blurry overall. I found it atrociously boring too. The multiplayer feels like a straight call of duty clone. That kind of gameplay has had its prime time long ago and just seems sucked dry and boring.
No, they dumbed down the console version. The pc version looks way better, has higher res textures and all that jazz.
We havent seen the pc version yet, Except for tht trailer with those weird ass colors.
We havent seen the pc version yet, Except for tht trailer with those weird ass colors.
You haven't.
the only time I played multiplayer in the first was during the closed beta, and it was a lot of fun. I don't think this will be as fun without manual power switching
God damn you EA, and your hate of PC.
God damn you EA, and your hate of PC.
this is crytek they'd never forget pc's these are the people that made fucking crysis
