Remember the Playstation 2 where if you didn't include content on the first game, you would just be SOL until the next game?
I find it hilarious that they're saying their shitty map packs are better than entire games. Also that they're implying that they have more of these overpriced map packs planned for a game that's nowhere near release yet.
They would be correct in saying their over priced shitty map packs are better than the entire CoD Game. Think about it, they're rehashed maps of the previous games, which if you take the CoD Games and release them in reverse order, they get better and better
THAT lSNT SOMETHING YOU WANNA BRAG ABOUT
Yes it is. Kotick's a businessman and Activision-Blizzard's a business. A very profitable one. As huuuuge a dick as Kotick is, he's good at what he does. Which is making copious amounts of money.
The more they milk CoD the better, I want it to die like Guitar Hero.
129.99 for full access to the "Clan Tag" feature Warning: An additional 34.99 must be payed every month following the initial purchase of the clan tag feature, or privileges will be lost.
i bought the black ops dlc [editline]13th February 2011[/editline] owned
I cheered when a co-worked refused to get the DLC...when everyone else kept trying to get him to buy it, at work. Today all my hopes were shattered when i found he bought it last night. No shit, all my co-workers except my PC master race buddy and I play this every night over xbawx live. It's all they talk about; Some kid mic spamming, getting owned by constant grenades...Its nice to have an intelligent conversation about an FPS that actually requires teamwork, ie: Bad Company 2, with my other PC master race friend.
We’re very excited about the increased value we can bring to the community. The DLC we have planned for Call of Duty alone should have more commercial potential on its own than most standalone console games.
All I read from that was: "We expect the DLC alone to be whoring us more money then taxes in any country in the world. We expect to fill our pockets more with this than in any other way. Oh, uhm... And its shit" It's exactly like that picture that shows corporations shitting on politicians shitting on someone else that I can't remember, that in the end shit on civilians. As in shit we get the shit they throw at us and pay big bucks for it.

Seriously i am getting bored of these posts about social justice and shit when all you have to do is just not buy that fucking overrated piece of trash
if you stop buying they'll blame the pirates and get a government bailout or some stupid shit you can't kill these fuckers
That is fucking stupid
I'd like to see a Call of Duty game where Multiplayer has to be unlocked by finishing the campaign
Actually that's a good idea. This FORCES the gamer to learn more about the single player story, get to learn the game mechanics before jumping in to the multiplayer. But of course we should have some sort of secret code that instantly unlock multiplayer should the gamer uninstalled the game previously.
You all say you hate Activi$ion and that this is too far, but I bet tons of you will still buy the next Call of Duty and all of the shitty overpriced DLC that comes with it. Just like the last 2 Call of Duty's that everyone said they would boycott.
Hey I never bought any of those games nor the DLCs. Not for "this glorious cause of boycotting it", I just didn't care about them.
THAT lSNT SOMETHING YOU WANNA BRAG ABOUT
It is to shareholders. I'm not really fussed, last COD game I got was COD4, doubt I'll get any of them, battlefield etc is much better value.

The people that made MAG are pulling the same shit. Originally, extra character slots were a buck each. I bought them because, hey, it's a dollar. All of a sudden I get a message "Oh, by the way, even though you paid for it already we're going to start charging you monthly and in order for us not to, you have to delete the download immediately" OT, hopefully people start to realize how fucking stupid Activision is. This is why mainstream ruins everything. When games were made for people to have fun and not just to make money off the idiot parents of even bigger idiot 12 year old kids, they were great.
I'm going to send an angry email to Activision.
Im done buying call of duty games. fuck you kockdick
But...I like Black Ops. I like the new maps. I think they're worth what they charge because of the added rotation of fun gameplay. They add a good variety. :( Doesn't anyone else love going on the frenzies in multiplayer? Good ruthless fun??
I only have COD4 and COD:BO and I have no plans on getting any more of them. I'm probably only having fun with them because they are the only 2 COD games I've played, anyways.
I'm going to send an angry email to Activision.
that'll show em!!

Plus 15 dollars for about 4 maps is fucking ridiculous.
I love how activision keeps the lifetime of their CoD titles to about a year so that people have to buy a new one to continue to have fun, thus no map editor or anything.

Milking has it's limits. It's going to be guitar hero story over and over again, till there's nothing else to milk.
