Chinese media is reportedly rabid with disgust over an alleged Sydney train assault involving Chinese international students, reports say. Six people, aged between 14 and 18, have been charged with a range of robbery and assault offences after an incident allegedly occurred between Sydney's Central and Rockdale stations at 12.30am on Tuesday morning. A Chinese student currently undertaking a Masters degree at the University of Technology took to the social media site Weibo claiming he and his friend had been victims of a brutal attack that included racial taunts. A translation from the student's blog on the Chinese social media site reportedly said: "I really wish all of this is just a nightmare. However, the smell of blood in my mouth and body pains reminds me that this city is so dangerous. "A gang of hooligans attacked us. Our noses are fractured and our bodies are covered in blood. My friend's cheekbone was crushed. They attacked us with glass and burnt us with lit cigarettes. My face is burnt and totally disfigured! Worst of all, I really hated their racist comments. "They were calling us Asian dogs and pussies while they were beating us. When my friend tried to wipe blood from his nose, a teenaged girl stuffed my friend's mouth with her tampon removed from her pants." Another woman passenger, who was also targeted by the thieves, allegedly told the attackers to "rob them, they are Asian and they have got money". The post has spread across the internet after 10,000 re-tweets soon followed by Chinese students expressing their disgust rampantly online. The incident is said to have made headlines across China's mainstream media like the Shanghai Daily and Sina. Former foreign minister Kevin Rudd has reportedly become involved in the aftermath of a violent Sydney train assault. It has been reported that Rudd told one of his Weibo online followers that he "will try to approach the police and department of education." Chinese consular officials have also publicly expressed their support for the students and are said to have met at the Consulate General in Sydney this morning to discuss the incident. The Chinese embassy in Canberra issued two safety warnings for Chinese citizens travelling in Australia recently. It is understood that the two student victims were treated at St George Hospital in Sydney's south-west.
Source Why
What the fuck sort of person do you have to be to do this kind of stuff? And the girl who stuffed her tampon in the guys mouth, really? Fucking disgusting behaviour. How does that kind of shit even occur to a normal person.
I clicked on this thread expecting an article on Chinese students being beaten in some brain-brawl thing in Sydney, then was disappointed upon seeing this.
What's wrong with Chinese people? I thought we were peaceful people. No need to beat us up. :(
I don't think portions of the general public have gotten out of the "White Australia" phase yet.
and this is why you don't take the train really early in the morning/late at night. Fucking station rats
Bogans probably.
This is why you never catch a train in Sydney/Melbourne from 8:00PM - 5AM, all the station rats and dickheads come out.
What did the chinese do wrong again? Nothing.
This is why you never catch a train in Sydney/Melbourne from 8:00PM - 5AM, all the station rats and dickheads come out.
Aren't there some guardian services if I'm not wrong? [editline]27 April 2012[/editline] Oh wait that's right they are friday and saturday nights only.
This is why you never catch a train in Sydney/Melbourne from 8:00PM - 5AM, all the station rats and dickheads come out.
Pretty same everywhere sadly, too much time and so little to do, so logical course of action for these kind of folks is being as "edgy" as possible.
Six people, aged between 14 and 18
Sounds like the usual kind of wannabe "gangster" pack animals. Stupid in groups, cowards alone.
Worst of all, I really hated their racist comments
Why all my friends who went to Australia said Aussies are not very nice to asian people?
Why all my friends who went to Australia said Aussies are not very nice to asian people?
Most aussies have the retarded "fuck off, we're full" mentality, because Australia is extremely liveable, most asians move to Australia for a better life
Why all my friends who went to Australia said Aussies are not very nice to asian people?
Because we are terrible and the political discourse in regards to race is also terrible
Bogans probably.
Like rednecks but even more annoying. This is fucking disgusting. Absolutely appalling.
Heh this also reminds me of one of my friends at school, a kid born in Hong Kong who came to Australia at some point. Although we're in Year 12 he's been the subject of some racial abuse from kids even down to Year 7 (well I guess because they probably hold on to their parents' mentality and haven't formulated their own opinions yet). Well sometimes he deserves it because of how he treats everyone, I swear we corrupted him (sometimes he might just go up to a random kid and tell them to suck his dick, call them faggot cunts or something along those lines). Haha don't rate me heart because as I said he deserves it sometimes. He's fucking hilarious and doesn't fit any of the Chinese stereotypes at all. If anyone calls him racist he'll fucking humiliate whoever said it. Kai, what a boss you are.
Some Australian areas can be very intolerable to various races 'hogging up' the place. Despite the fact that Australia is a multicultural society, there still can be an underlying 'white Australia' mindset. Look at the Cronulla riots a few years ago, racially fuelled violence between white Australian hooligans and ethnic minorities. I myself was subject to some minor racial taunts back in highschool, despite the fact that I was raised in Australia since 4, it didn't stop the kids back then. Australians take pride in who and what they are, which is fine, but some people take this notion too far and prey on minorities.
Most aussies have the retarded "fuck off, we're full" mentality, because Australia is extremely liveable, most asians move to Australia for a better life
Well then those white aussies need to fuck off too since their mostly descendants of criminals who stole land from the natives.
Well then those white aussies need to fuck off too since their mostly descendants of criminals who stole land from the natives.
You can't really judge someones descendants. And not every fucking Australian is born from a criminal. Some were simply people who moved here, or even natives themselves. Rather, judge them on how they act presently.
Time for 1,6 billion Bruce Lees to invade Australia. Nah but seriously, This is very Sad. People immigrates to other countries because theyre country is a shitty one, you run away from shit like dictators and so on. When you finally feel safe in a democratic country you will start realising that there are people who do not wants you in their country and will do anything just to make you want to move back. Hungary for an example where the Romani people are being chased by bodybuilding and weapon wielding Nazis. We've got EDL ( English Defense Force ) who are against Islam and immigrants. In my opinion all kind of Extreamism should be forbidden, Even if its an democratic country.
chinese peoples go homes
Dem lads. Noone fucks with me on the train. I've got a steel rod in my toolbag if they do. Mt Druitt and Blacktown are far worse stations however, you just never hear anything.
scary thing is that I'm chinese and live around there :tinfoil:

I've never even understood how anyone could be fussed over Asians of all groups tbh, by and large they are culturally quite nice and as far as I can tell generally bring a lot more benefits than negatives to society.
I go to the same university and catch the same train, currently in the second week of our two week break. I've never seen anything like this happen before but from the sounds of it it was probably bogans from the Shire.
Station rats at their finest, calling people pussies when they attack in groups themselves, and to top it off, attacking Chinese international students.
I think theyll go home after this kind of treatment, seriously its just stupid shit, someone has to apologise to them whether it be the foriegn affairs minister or the people that did it.
