• Slash and Axl Rose Reconcile
It looks like a major breakthrough in the relationship between Slash and Axl Rose took place recently. In a new interview with a Swedish television outlet, the guitarist says the reconciliation between the classic Guns N’ Roses members was “way overdue.” Slash was in Sweden helping to promote the new Marshall London phone, and where he jammed with the band Graveyard. In the middle of an interview (watch above), the Swedish reporter for Aftonbladet TV seemed to randomly say, “I’ve heard that you’ve made friends with Axl Rose again.” Instead of dismissing the comment, Slash confirmed the news, saying, “It was probably way overdue, you know. But it’s…you know, it’s very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative … dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long.” It’s no secret that the relationship between the two musicians has been strained for a long time, as the two didn’t even speak to each other for years after Slash left GN’R in 1996. So the fact that they apparently are on friendly terms again is a significant development.
http://loudwire.com/slash-and-axl-rose-on-friendly-terms-again/
finally jeez
who cares about axl rose hes so overrated
who cares about axl rose hes so overrated
what does this have to do with anything?
who cares about axl rose hes so overrated
Not super relevant. Axl Rose can definitely be described as hell of a diva, but "overrated" is not a word I'd personally use. I would say that word fits much better with Slash, even if he's played some extremely nice and memorable solos. Anyway, it's always nice to see feuds like these come to an end, they're just silly.
Celebrities stop fighting, tell the news!
A reunion would still suck, as Axl has not had a good performance in years
Listen to the latest gnr lives. Axl really is letting himself go
If they were ever to reunite, I'd hope to god that Axl gets his voice in order, and loses some weight.
[Phone rings, someone answers] -Vinnie, it's for you. It's Phil... Time to grow the fuck out of it and have, at the very least, a long talk where they can find a common ground. I fail to see why he's still mad at him, after all these years. Leaving aside other differences they may have, he keeps treating Phil as if he was personally responsible for Dime's death... [editline]22nd August 2015[/editline] If these two could at least come to terms with each other, then so can Vinnie and Phil, that's what I'm saying.
A reunion would still suck, as Axl has not had a good performance in years
Exactly... and Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators is just too much fun
Celebrities stop fighting, tell the news!
Loudwire isn't the news.
who cares about axl rose hes so overrated
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not considering the fact that everyone thinks he's a shitass. He's actually a pretty decent singer/lyricist (or at least he was. not sure what he's like now)
as much as I'd like a reunion, there is no way they will be able to capture the energetic and destructive attitude that they achieved even in their first years.
A reunion would still suck, as Axl has not had a good performance in years
That's not true, I saw GNR last year and it was very good. He put on a very good show that rocked
who cares about axl rose hes so overrated
Diva, absolutely. Shithead, most definitely. Overrated? Not in the slightest. He's one of the greatest rock singers who's ever lived. Man has hit higher notes than Mariah Carey and lower notes than Barry White.
Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they fall out again anytime soon. Axl is such a cockwomble.
Haha, what. Slash actually has talent.
Where did I say that Slash doesn't have talent? He's hell of a guitarist. Well done putting words in my mouth. Overrated doesn't equal no talent.

He might be mad at him for never returning Dime's phone calls. The press should be the one to blame for Pantera's breakup with all the he said bullshit.
who cares about axl rose hes so overrated
Really? I mean everyone knows he was perfect for GnR, but he's considered one of the biggest douchebags in rock history. Example:
