Contemplate?
If the plan is to take our avaible resources at the moment ,and attempt to distribute them through a free environment we're bound to have some issues. My issue towards free health care is that people such as druggies will abuse it in a complete backwards look for what it is. The most rational concept would be to limit each person to a certain limit per-year ,and operate it so that if they need more it's own their own bill. That may sound a little screwed up to point ,but by freely out distributing any form of product we'll have an issue of people abusing it. Not only that we still don't have a full out-source for where the money needed for this is coming from.

Canada :smug:
Canada :smug:
I'm about ready to move there.
I've been arguing against this thing blindly for so long, and what a fool I was when I looked back at it. Dammit, I wanted this to be put onto the above post I made.
UH OH. It's too late you can't switch sides now you lose!
But the bill has nothing of that sort.
Too be honest I completely said,"Fuck this shit" awhile ago. Any forums which regarded the health care plan I've usually kept my head out of. The only reason I see any form of problems with the health care plan is that it seems... To out there? We're in debt. Shouldn't that be our first hand concern?
Even though you have the same Doctors and treatment. [editline]02:59PM[/editline] Speak to Lankist, he's a lawyer.
Military law and Civilian law are two different worlds tbh.

We were in more debt after Regan than anything. No one cared about this when going to war with Iraq. I don't understand how people think our debt is more important than saving lives.
Didn't the Supreme Court already deny this once?

If you have no debt... You can save more lives.
The Democrats have been shoving this down American throats for the past year, and still they're having a hard time. I don't see any indication that it is going to be won.
This is pretty kick ass.
Didn't the Supreme Court already deny this once?
Twice if I remember correctly :P
The Democrats have been shoving this down American throats for the past year, and still they're having a hard time. I don't see any indication that it is going to be won.
Prepare to be butthurt.
Sorta a rule of thumb if you think about it. If you have no debt... You can save more lives.
Then let's take all that money we're spending on killing middle easterners and put it to saving some of our own.
Sorta a rule of thumb if you think about it. If you have no debt... You can save more lives.
Not really. The US Gov isn't like SimCity, when you're out of money it does not mean you don't have money. Weird right? Thank Reagan. I'm not a fan of debt either but the cost of this bill is nothing compared to our debt, in fact it's guessed to pay for itself in expenditure cutbacks.
When a department is set up for this it's going to be hell getting rid of it.
This article was not biased in any sense at all. I appreciate that very much. However, as much as liberals contend this is a humanitarian and smart plan. This will just make our debt skyrocket to the point were we will never be able to pay this off.
It's going to lower the deficit by 100 Billion Over ten years
In the end, it doesn't matter if you’re republican or democrat, it matters in what you believe in. Dennis Kucinich for example: After months of saying he was against the health care bill, U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Cleveland announced last week that he will vote yes.
This is misleading. It makes it sound like Kucinich is a Republican or something. Kucinich was threatening to vote "no" because he's an ultra-lefty who hates the fact that you took most of the stuff he wanted (e.g. a PUBLIC OPTION) out of the bill in order to compromise with the Republicans. He's only agreeing to vote for it now because he figures "it's better than nothing." Tell me what that has to do with what you "believe in," Obama?

Well here's hoping it doesn't pass.

It's funny that the Senate is voting on Health-care. If anything bad were to happen to a Senator, they'd be airlifted to the nearest hospital and treated with the highest priority.

This still isn't the end, the reconciliation process is going to be one unending series of Republican objections and demands, and if they change anything about the bill during that process it will have to go right back to the House.
Have no fear The Republicans are gonna fuck it up because there afraid of that fascist socialistic Nazi Muslim Obama And you want your change you assholes? Let us do it then! You've had your 8 years to fuck shit up
Obamas biggest mistake was trying to be the nice guy, trying to compromise. Shoulda went in guns a blazing with a big fuck you to the GOP, get shit done while you can. That's what the GOP has done the entire time the past 8 years.
