as much as i dislike america, it's an american flag in america and if they have a problem they should leave
screw freedom of speech, this is America, there's no such thing.

Note the fact that you do not have a green title saying something along the lines of "Section Moderator", meaning that all you can do is annoy me until one of us gets banned.
Note the fact that you do not have a green title saying something along the lines of "Section Moderator", meaning that all you can do is annoy me until one of us gets banned.
statements do not require input, stop posting.
You be trollin' I'm British, and I walked into a gym and saw a big o' Union Jack, I'd fucking well enjoy it.
Nothing gets me off more then saluting murrica as I work out.
IMHO If you guys need flags all over the place to remember yourselves you're americans, then your patriotism feelings are messed up. I don't need coloured pieces of cloth waving in front porches or forum avatars reminding me where I'm from. Oh, and America is a continent, k?
people hang american flags everywhere, i don't understand how those people can stand to live in this country.
Not really. People both equate religion with it and are nationalistic enough to regard it AS a religious figure. [editline]08:05PM[/editline] One nation, under god...
I guess. Never heard of someone complaining because there was an American flag being displayed somewhere before though. Then again I tend to avoid the news altogether unless it's local.
I guess. Never heard of someone complaining because there was an American flag being displayed somewhere before though.
I guess. Never heard of someone complaining because there was an American flag being displayed somewhere before though. Then again I tend to avoid the news altogether unless it's local.
Oh, so you admit to being an ignorant person sweet, that makes my job easier.
Nah, it's because I only have local news channels. Also, world news is pretty depressing. I like to be optimistic more often.
This makes sense, especially the TV complaint, but it does seem a bit odd they can't just find another gym.
How is the flag offensive? It's the most beautiful symbol I have ever seen.
You haven't seen much ey?
people hang american flags everywhere, i don't understand how those people can stand to live in this country.
It depends where you go. Large tourism spots such as NYC or Washington DC have them everywhere, most rural areas and other cities do not. I live in a very average suburb, the flag isn't too common, maybe one every tenth house. (not that many houses either)

blocking the television is stupid but this pretty much sums it up
"This is America. If you don't like to see the flag you can move somewhere else."

Nah, it's because I only have local news channels. Also, world news is pretty depressing. I like to be optimistic more often.
Optimism is looking at things in a positive way, not being ignorant.
as much as i dislike america, it's an american flag in america and if they have a problem they should leave
Are you implying that you've been to the US? [editline]02:15AM[/editline]
Note the fact that you do not have a green title saying something along the lines of "Section Moderator", meaning that all you can do is annoy me until one of us gets banned.
You are fighting a losing battle [editline]02:18AM[/editline] Anyone else find it ironic that it's Marblehead Gym and they're arguing against the flag like they have rocks for brains?
Optimism is looking at things in a positive way, not being ignorant.
It's not being ignorant if I'm not shutting out news and current events. I just wouldn't pick the news as something to watch before I'm about to start my day. I don't mind people talking about it and I even get involved in discussion if it's something worth discussing. But like I said, I just don't favor the news channel. If that means me being behind on some things, then alright. I don't want to hear about a bunch of people being massacred somewhere before I head off to do my daily things. If anything, I'd rather hear about that kind of thing at the end of the day so it'll give me something to think about before bed.
Fuck the Catholic church, how many times do they have to fuck up throughout history until people recognize that they're full of shit?
wow you're testy he just mentioned the fucking vatican and you go off yeah they've shown a history of corruption and shit but that's not even the fucking topic
Good for you. Enjoy it.
