nearly every time i've foolishly decided that i should be safe texting while driving (or felt that it was important that i reply) while not sitting at a red light, i've nearly gotten into an accident stories like this make it even more real. i won't lie and say i never check my phone while driving, and maybe three to four times a year i'll actually send something, but having the close calls i've had and seeing stories like this really are terrifying
