“We are appalled that anyone would use counterfeit money to steal from a Girl Scout. This crime takes away proceeds from Girl Scout Cookie sales that fund girl programs and projects in our community," Girl Scouts of Los Angeles spokesperson Carol Deitrich told Yahoo News on Tuesday. "Obviously, the girls are not experts at detecting counterfeit money. So, even though we have safety precautions in place, this sort of thing can happen."
Source is http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/cookies-monsters--counterfeiters-scheme-girl-scout-troop-out-of-money-203319765.html?vp=1 There is a special kinda a hell for people like this. Also it is gonna be funny when the secret service get their asses for counterfeiting.
this is just fucking low.
What if the person who used the counterfeit money wasn't aware that it was counterfeit and it had been put into circulation by someone else?
Start selling outside of weed shops start attracting the bad crowd. It's like one of those PSAs. I bet he had a mohawk and everything. Be careful with cookie sales guys.
Thanks for reminding me OP, I owe a guy 50$ for the cookies his daughter sells.
I mean if you have counterfeit money it's not like you're going to segregate it from your normal money
Prison is to good for these kinds of devils. Someone get the gibbets.
Thin Mints are like chocolate-coated sex in my mouth
Life with no parole.
How much of actual money is counterfeit anyways?
Samoas. That is all that needs to be said.
Good for them. $4 a box, in this economy?
How much of actual money is counterfeit anyways?
The majority of counterfeit USD actually circulates outside the United States, mostly in Asia.
Would it have been better if he'd stolen something more substantial? Like, a car?
holy shit, you have to be a real addict to eat those nasty cookies. I for one never cared for them as they almost always have a stale taste to them
People actually do this a lot. My sister used to be a girl scout and she had a guy come up and spend a $100 bill that was obviously fake, but as not to cause a scene the leader accepted it anyway. I'm sure these people are just doing it as a way to break their fake money into real money.
holy shit, you have to be a real addict to eat those nasty cookies. I for one never cared for them as they almost always have a stale taste to them
what are you implying by "addict"?
Good for them. $4 a box, in this economy?
Keebler sells cookies that are effectively identical to Girl Scout cookies for roughly half or a third of the price per weight. [t]http://i.imgur.com/37j3eXo.jpg[/t]
Have they got any ones that are like Samoas? Those are the only girl scout cookie I actually like.
Yeah, the Samoa knock-offs are called "Coconut Dreams". I'm pretty sure they have copies of all Girl Scout cookies.
We should just keep using counterfeit money since the government already prints it faster than anyone could counterfeit it, and they're already planning on inflating us straight to hell
Yeah, the Samoa knock-offs are called "Coconut Dreams". I'm pretty sure they have copies of all Girl Scout cookies.
Those are fucking amazing and I think I like them more than the actual Girl Scout versions. They are demon cookies in the sense that you can't only have just one..
Behead the vile filth!
Finally someone fights back against these oppressive dominatrices! First they make us addicted to these cookies, then they have the nerve to make them smaller and include less and less per package!
Thanks for reminding me OP, I owe a guy 50$ for the cookies his daughter sells.
How do you spend $50 on cookies?
How do you spend $50 on cookies?
you buy a lot of cookies?? I ended up spending 90 on Samoas and Thin Mints
A dodgy friend of mine once offered me a box of very convincing fake notes. I passed on the offer though.
