Graffiti always seems to amaze me like the graffiti artist that did the piece in this article. There is this HUGE building near my job called 5 POINTZ that allows graffiti artists to tag there if they show the owners of the bulding a photo or a sketch of the piece they want to do.After they show them the piece the owners give the graffiti artist a permit and a section of the building that they can tag.The better you are the better your spot is.Its amazing if you get the chance to visit. Here are some photos. If I owned a business and some douchebag just tagged my building with small lines of black spraypaint, of course I would have it removed. But if some dude created a multicoloured masterpiece on one of my walls, I would just leave it be as long as it wasn't obscene or in bad taste.
The UK gets all the coolest graffiti artists. The only prolific graffitist around here that I can think of is some dude who paints "4 GIVE YO SELF" and "GET GOD" in 10 foot high letters on the sides of bridges and abandoned buildings downtown.
At least it's not like Eastern Europe, where all the graffiti is just "FUCK" in Sharpie.
Reminds me of the Mormon temple in San Diego:
It's always weird driving past that, you can see it from the highway.
At least it's not like Eastern Europe, where all the graffiti is just "FUCK" in Sharpie.
It's the same here in Australia, you can't find a train that doesn't have "Cunt" sharpie'd onto the pack of a seat
People who can do this have a 6th sense called visualization that allows them to see a finished work on a blank canvas, and much like you know which muscles to move in order to pick up a cup because you can see it, they know how to use their medium to make the work they see. Amazing, but still illegal and you can't really be mad if they remove your illegal artwork from their property :/
The Mor(m)on Church is creepy. I know plenty of ex-Mormons that are borderline in hiding.
My ex girlfriend is mormon, her parents were so creepy, reading our facebook messages and talking to us about boundaries.

Even went as far as driving to the parking lot of the thing and taking some exterior pictures. Wonderful architecture, got a very weird feeling standing underneath it though. Once I figured out it was Mormon, I knew what the feeling was.
