Translated: Fuck we dunno
...but its not our fault!
They gotta be talkin' to each other, man
Probably some hidden Skynet code.
Don't install un-named 3rd party software d'oh :downs:
I read this as "Minecraft explains 'phantom data'" and then i saw BBC as it was loading and was like "wut"
So they're in contact with this 3rd party for a potential fix? That means it's a third-party software that is installed by default with Microsoft's consent on everyone's phones and they refuse to release the name and purpose of it. Sounds pretty damn shady to me. It's probably collecting usage data for Microsoft.
I never used a WP7 phone, but don't all smartphones sandbox their applications and don't give them access to the internet by default? At least my phone is doing that and now I understand why. I've read an article somewhere that brings forth the question of whether cell phones are to be specially designed to be wiretapped. Unfortunately, I don't have any sources readily available... Try Googling "CALEA cell phones" and go from there. Try "CALEA cell phones tinfoil" if that doesn't work.
