Opinionated piece of shit pretends to be a journalist again. There's a difference between giving a good studio every resource you can to soften the transition, and making a terrible business decision, jesus christ.
Mm, while it's maybe a little unfair, running at a loss it not something I would expect any business to do, especially a successful one.
Typical Activision business practise: buyout a studio, run them into the ground with shitty projects and bad management and then strip the carcass until there is nothing left. If you disagree you can look all the way back to the late 1980s when they bought out Infocom (makers of Zork and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and then shut them down three years later.
Activision are real assholes.
her comes the activision Dis train cho choo
her comes the activision Dis train cho choo
Activision's momma is so fat, when she calls a cab, they show up in a truck! Oh wait, not that kind of diss.
EA does the exact same thing.
EA does the exact same thing.
Not really
I would buy Bizarre and let them make any cool games they wanted. But I don't have enough money. :smith:
I want activision to die for putting out some half-assed games. Hiring some shitty studios, and also being nothing but marketing dicks that make us good gamers look like shit. But does activision die? No So get over it activision... Damn I really do hate those bastards.
Not really
Pandemic is really the only thing I could compare that to, and Pandemic made decent games, they were just too decent and not really amazing in any aspects (except for Battlefront which was amazing).
Bizarre is a good company, I especially loved Blur, it sucked how Blur burned out so quickly after release. Why must Activision sell them? :smithicide:
EA does the exact same thing.
R.I.P Pandemic. :smith:
Yo Mojang, How bout that offer?
I don't really care for Bizarre and I can understand Activision not wanting to lose money through a unprofitable studio, but why did they buy them in the first place?

They can post whatever they want.
Is it worrisome for me my childhood video game character is in the hands of Acti...
I misread that as Blizard but anyway, game studios get shut down for not making enough money. Whose fault was it? The game developer or the customers who refuse to buy their quality video games?
But I liked Blur and Geometry Wars! Why is it that Activision just seems to eat everything, and then kill it, while simultaneously acquiring the IP and trademarks/patents for whatever the studio produced, thus rendering it impossible to create similar games in the future?
They didn't make any money because the fucking publisher didn't advertise that they were making any games! Who actually saw any pre release material for 007: Bloodstone? I thought not. It is Activision's fault that this happened.
Remember when EA was the company to hate? Now it's Activision :v: but now EA is cool not saying Activision isn't ass backwards, just wanted to point it out.
Remember when EA was the company to hate? Now it's Activision :v: but now EA is cool not saying Activision isn't ass backwards, just wanted to point it out.
What, no, EA is still pretty terrible
I guess in a few years Bungie will go down the crapper as well. :/
Should I be worried now that Geometry Wars 2 won't be released on PC? Shit I loved Retro Evolved but never brought 2 because I moved on from the 360 to the PC.
The World Recommends Death for Activision. :smug:
The World Recommends Death for Activision. :smug:
Yes please
I guess in a few years Bungie will go down the crapper as well. :/
Bungie will plan to backstab Act while they are at War with EA at E3 dam, at this place shall one Gamer put in a keycard that gives Bungie the right to hack their hidden army of possessed Halo 13 year fanboys who will help Bungie Dominate the world.
R.I.P Pandemic. :smith:
Never forget
Just like EA running westwood into the ground.
