Oulson and his wife, Nichole, were taken to a local hospital where he died. [editline]13th January 2014[/editline] I was just there on Friday. :(
Why do these people have to be so fucking nuts?
I wonder if this is a personal thing or some kind of copy cat. [editline]13th January 2014[/editline]
Why do these people have to be so fucking nuts?
In my opinion, humans aren't supposed to live in condensed urban areas living by man-made laws and dealing with constant modern day stressers. A few of us are bound to lose our shit every once in a while. -- For the people rating me dumb, that's fine, but could you at least counter my argument or explain?
Shit, i've been there. :(

News flash: Ain't happening without a mass disaster that drives us back to caveman tier. Some of us may be incapable of handling stressors and thus ending up like this, but the vast majority of sensible people can actually remember that there's always hope while we still cling to life, and perhaps try to get over their life stresses.

You havent provided an argument to argue saying that it is against nature to live in groups.
A few of us are bound to lose our shit every once in a while.
Some people can't handle it. George Carlin said it best: As a species, we're barely out of the jungle. I think at a base level, we're still wired to live in small, nomadic tribes, hunting and gathering and living by natural laws. Why do you think there are so many mental issues like depression and anxiety?
I dont need to explain anything other than I think your opinion is dumb, thus the rating. You havent provided an argument to argue saying that it is against nature to live in groups.
to add on to this: Living in a group is a survival strategy that's encoded in us since we evolved from monkeys. In the wild, even if you happen to be really skilled, powerful, or lucky, there's always the chance of bad shit happening to you, and if you live alone, the consequences can be worse. Predators prefer to always pick off lone stragglers rather than attack entire herds, unless they get really desperate for food.
people can actually remember that there's always hope while we still cling to life, and perhaps try to get over their life stresses.
You don't think there's something wrong with that?

People have had mental health issues for years, I don't think living in cities suddenly triggers the craziness. Not to mention that crime rates have been going down, despite more people living in cities.

What your claiming is absolute nonsense. The amount of people that snap and do harmful things, like these mass shootings, is a minuscule amount when compared to the overall population, and it's not exclusive to urban environments either. Mental illnesses have always been around. The only difference between now and a 500 or 1,000 years ago, is now we know what they are, how to identify them, and how to properly treat them.
blankquote
And that would happen if they're living in a million dollar apartment in Manhattan or wiping their asses with leaves in the jungles around the Amazon. Mental illnesses are not exclusive to urban or modern areas.
According to Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco, one of the victims apparently was texting. A person sitting behind the person texting became irritated and an altercation ensued. Shots were then fired.
Cause of the shooting
Cause of the shooting
This is a new one on me, honest. I wonder if this sort of thing might end up getting it's own classification, like road rage.
do you think you're being funny when you add in that something happened near you or do you think it actually matters? just curious
In my opinion, humans aren't supposed to live in condensed urban areas living by man-made laws and dealing with constant modern day stressers.
Nah, those laws and stressful thing we have to deal with every day are what allow us to progress as a species. Yeah, we all have to deal with lousy routines, but at least it gives us a reason to work together and accomplish stuff. Though I kinda agree on the population density part. Humans tend to react badly when things get a little too crowded.
do you think you're being funny when you add in that something happened near you or do you think it actually matters? just curious
do we really need to start bickering about this again
do you think you're being funny when you add in that something happened near you or do you think it actually matters? just curious
They often just use it for emphasis, being local news in their case. Some members are (or were, in the most well-known case) known for posting a lot of local news.
Cause of the shooting
Are you serious? Are you flipping serious... That has probably got to be the most retarded reason there ever was to go on a flipping shooting spree...
Why do you think there are so many mental issues like depression and anxiety?
Because people fail to find their own place in society ?
Are you serious? Are you flipping serious... That has probably got to be the most retarded reason there ever was to go on a flipping shooting spree...
there doesn't need to be much of a reason if you're crazy enough
And that would happen if they're living in a million dollar apartment in Manhattan or wiping their asses with leaves in the jungles around the Amazon. Mental illnesses are not exclusive to urban or modern areas.
Maybe he could mean that in suburbs or more rural area, someone getting frustrated or violent would find less people to vent rage/frustration onto, and perhaps find some time alone to calm down without doing any damage. Sometimes it's the simplest things that lead to violence, especially in a more stressful and chaotic environment, which many people sometimes can't take. [editline]13th January 2014[/editline]
Because people fail to find their own place in society ?
And some people sometimes have trouble for reasons they can't control. It depends on the help they can get.
On the bright side, maybe in-movie texting/calling will be down
Unlikely.
This is a new one on me, honest. I wonder if this sort of thing might end up getting it's own classification, like road rage.
Cinemas have this habit of being a nest of low tolerance. I've seen someone get decked for, not kidding, eating their popcorn too loud.

Minus the shooting part that is. [editline]dsfdsgafd[/editline]

According to Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco, one of the victims apparently was texting. what movie were they going to watch?
mah merge
Cause of the shooting
Can't blame the shooter. I've wanted to do that a few times. [editline]13th January 2014[/editline]
what movie were they going to watch?
Lone Survivor
Guy who did it was a retired police officer, 71 years old.
