I actually despised Tobey as spiderman, so I'm happy to have a new actor to try this out.
Awful. But his character is likely to stick in people's minds. I hope this new actor is faithful to the character and doesn't try too hard to play it seriously.
the first 3 spiderman movies were worth it just for the rifftraxx
How are you allowed to do a gritty reboot when the film you're rebooting only came out less than 4 years ago? "Uh oh Batman sure is popular now because they actually made some good films. What can we replicate from that to make money out of Spiderman? The cinematography? The amazing actors and script? Fuck it that's too much effort we'll just make sure the movie is dark as fuck."

Why don't you stop focusing on dumb shit like that and actually wait and see for yourself if this movie is good? There are a lot of actors I've never heard of in this movie, this could be their make it/break it opportunity. I haven't even seen any of this directors work. I'm gonna pass on this. The last series of Spiderman movies sucked.
No more Spiderman Movies, please.
When have corporate bigwigs plan's every lead to anything good when they tamper with the original artist's vision.
At least have a cameo of Tobey.
Proper spiderman theme nao plox. That was always my big beef with the other ones. Fairly good portrayal, but it's not really spiderman without the theme. Y'know?
Come on, I want someone other than uncle Ben to die. In first 3 movies I think no one else other than Ben and Gary's father died. It was so mild.
Except all those people the villians killed. It's spiderman, it doesn't need gratuitous death. It's honestly the thing that really ruins the movie batman for me. It's very noble when he fights crime with a vengeance, but sticks to his principles enough to not want to kill them. But when he starts randomly bombing people just for the sake of the character dies.
Spider-man was a good series, I can't believe they managed to fuck it up so badly.
that's a pretty stupid way to live
Not for me, I actually enjoy movies without nitpicking at them because they're 'unrealistic', because it's just a movie.
He best not have webshooters.
Batman is about a man skulking shadows and striking fear into the hearts of his enemies in a city called "GOTHam city - a grittier reboot makes perfect sense. Spiderman is about a man bitten by a radioactive spider going around, getting a girlfriend, and saving new york whilst making snappy one-liners and being a wiseass. - a grittier reboot makes no sense.

If they don't have the J. Johna Jameson from the previous Spidermans, I'll be pissed.
I like it. He looks much more like Parker(build wise). And this will tie in with the avengers, so its all a plus.

We all know this film we be complete shit.
He's gone emo again it looks like.
This is what I think.
Still one of the best scenes in the movies
I own every Spider-Man movie, game, you name it, even this boxset of every single Animated Spiderman Cartoon from 1967, and this looks like absolute crap. But hey, we can't judge it until we've watched it, right?
Aww, still no web-pits. Oh, also some of the script was leaked. [sp] Uncle Ben dies and Mary Jane is the love interest.[/sp]
spiderman: an awkward nerdy boy's body starts going through weird changes, and then suddenly he's spraying all this sticky goo down the streets of new york
