except for people are human beings and that is homicide.
oh shit, the definition is different. We are nothing but animals ourselves.
oh shit, the definition is different. We are nothing but animals ourselves.
u_u, you gotta be kidding me, yeah sure we're animals but we're the smartest animals ever, we're infinitely more important than a cat or dog.
You know I'd love to see this fuck treated to being shoved into a dark room with the only lights being strobe lights of red and white, while the air inside the room is slowly sucked out leaving him with nothing but the sheer fright and hope that death soon comes to him. Then have his screams of agony taped, and put on YouTube. Do you guys see what it's like if you put the same situation on another life?
What a disgusting person, I mean I wouldn't even be able to close them in a bag in the first place.

The creator of the universe? You cant judge things unless you made and created them. You dont have a right to say that about living beings that were here before us and will probably stay here after us. We are intelligent? And yet we still find ways to keep the people in the 3rd world down, take from them and let them die. If I had the choice to rescue a businessman / banker or a cockroach i would save the cockroach. Our society has produced the worst kind of evil that ever lived on earth. Greed.
I would castrate that guy if i ever found him, the bastard...
tl;dr: Low-life animal fanatics whine and complain that this man should be executed for killing kittens.
The "tl;dr" is especially apt, because it's obvious it was too long for you to read. And each single day unimaginable amounts of animals get slaughtered and a big amount is ritual slaughtered.
Okay as much as I'd like to see this kid get some sort of punishment, it isn't about the moral horrors of this event. The headline should have read 'Youth questioned on death of kittens' if anything.
why did I get a disagree and a dumb for this? I'm an aspiring reporter, journalists should only be reporting the facts, not a bunch of kneejerk phrases designed to insight anger in the veins of people. But of course, this is the sun, which has about as much journalistic credibility as a damp piece of card
aaand it's The Sun. Just noticed that now they're going to have a witchhunt:
Know him? ... If you recognise the monster call us on
[editline]26th December 2010[/editline]
You say that like there's a moral grey area behind murdering kittens. Which is funny because murdering kittens is a common punchline in jokes about being evil.
You're just proving his point.
And each single day unimaginable amounts of animals get slaughtered and a big amount is ritual slaughtered.
And every single day this is done out of necessity in somewhat controlled conditions. This is juts plain sick.
tl;dr: Low-life animal fanatics whine and complain that this man should be executed for killing kittens.
these are the kinds of people who grow up or turn into serial killers.. there is an analog between torturing/killing animals (especially in such a sadistic way like this) and killing people. it's a normal response to be outraged or disgusted but the guy definitely needs to go to prison or a mental hospital. don't trivialize a normal response whether it's a little extreme or not.
all life forms are equally important i.e. not very
all life forms are equally important i.e. not very
Yes but a cat isnt worth nothing. he has the ability to feel and a brain, even if it isnt the size of a humans its still something. I guess I would consider the worth of the creator by the size of the brain.
Yes but a cat isnt worth nothing.
not very =/= not at all
not very =/= not at all
aren't life forms all that really matter? for without life forms to perceive the universe it might as well not exist
Yet nobody cares that we eat animals everyday.
Yet nobody cares that we eat animals everyday.
killing for food is different then killing because its fun. especially when you torture.
In my opinion it goes like this animal kingdom as a whole < humanity as a whole. This is because I'm human and I appreciate that we should value our own survival over the survival of other species, whilst still trying to ensure their survival. on the other hand a specific animal could easily trump a specific human in my books, because there are some humans who I utterly despise, and some animals which I love unconditionally.
Who cares? Kittens are fucking worthless, more air for me. Besides the killer didn't do anything wrong. Think of it as killing 2 bugs.

Until other animals are capable of sapient speech, they should not be given any priority under law.
Until other animals are capable of sapient speech, they should not be given any priority under law.
so we should be able to kill babies, mutes and retards?
