this section has ruined puns for me. stop trying to farm ratings with the shittiest puns you can come up with, they're terrible.
What can you expect, people always take advantage of grizzly situations.
this story sounds like a scene straight from a movie
this section has ruined puns for me. stop trying to farm ratings with the shittiest puns you can come up with, they're terrible.
Stop lion, you know you love them.
I thought mountain lions don't usually attack humans. So it's unusual that it attacked, very lucky for him that it jumped on the bag, and a very rare behaviour by the bear. Incredible.
Mountain lions do attack humans. They just won't attack humans in groups, or if the human looks like too much trouble. An old or young human alone is a perfect target for a hungry mountain lion. That's one of the many reasons you should travel through the woods with at least one other person.
The bear had to go to the hospital for being to awesome
I bet you she couldn't bear to see the sight of that man being murdered by a lion! edit: lol, the man a few posts below me uses a similar pun as me and he's a comedic genius and but I'm a fucking idiot
because your joke sucked take it like a man
Score one for us.
"I'm 100-percent sure it did want to save my life," he said. "We made eye contact. I'd seen the bears before and I know she knew who I was."
Really doubt this. The bear was only trying to protect it's young from the mountain lion. The only reason it didn't attack the guy was because he wasn't a threat. Still freaking badass though.
That beautiful story really cheered me up
if something like that happened to me, the eye contact with the bear and all, i'd probably start believing in a god

This is incredible. I've never heard of a bear not just mauling both of them. If anything they avoid the risk altogether, especially if they have cubs. This seriously goes against everything I know about bears. Does anyone know what kind of bear this was? Fuckin' lucky.

I thought it was Bear Grills when I read the title for some reason. I am disappointed in my chief scout.
Bears are so friendly.
Black Bears are a lot more chill than a grizzly bear. If it had been a Grizzly it would have fucking chased him and killed him if he was that close to a mother and her cubs. Still, black bears can be aggressive sometimes, he was lucky that the black bear was different than most.
black bears are, coastal brown bears however, 1500 pounds what? larger than a grizzly.
BROther Bear
What about the backpack? Did it survive?
Silly old bear.
Simply amazing!
That's great. Amazing that the bear remembered him after all those years of hiking that trail.
Then he dies of rabies after not going to the doctor. Super badass, but he should see doctor just in case.
Rabies is virtually unheard of in cougars, unless you're playing Red Dead Redemption.
because your joke sucked take it like a man
But it was almost the exact same pun. I fail to see why mine sucked and his was funnier.
At first glance I thought the title said "Beer saves man from mountain lion attack".
That bear in the story kind of reminded me of this...
You know we are all thinking that the bear saved him because it remember it and stuff like that. In the reality it was probably something along the lines : "Get off my lunch"
Sounds like Skyrim. Only the lion was a giant and the bear was a dragon.
