SWÄRJÖÖÖ
Was hoping for an Italian upset at the very last moment. Also how the fuck did Belgium get 4th place.
Russia was doing good but then they got btfo
Russia as per usual only got ahead because of all the political voting
According to the BBC the votes were announced in a order that would hide the actual winner as long as possible.
And holy shit for anyone who missed it, when Russia announced their votes the guy who read them out briefly pretended they'd awarded 12 points to themselves (which is impossible) :v:
According to the BBC the votes were announced in a order that would hide the actual winner as long as possible.
Yet the order of the countries announcing their votes was announced in the morning today..? How can they predict how countries will vote?
To be honest, this entire years worth of songs was a giant snorefest. Almost all songs were boring ballads.
To be honest, this entire years worth of songs was a giant snorefest. Almost all songs were boring ballads.
It would have been alright if it was only like one or two ballads but not almost two hours of them.
Yet the order of the countries announcing their votes was announced in the morning today..? Normally countries tend to vote in the same ways each year, though that did get mixed up a bit tonight.
Remember when Eurovision had interesting songs like this? [HD]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ws4COisklac[/HD] I miss those days

Laughed so hard at this. My dad and I were joking that they'd do that; only a second later, the dude legit does it. Called it. You bet they'd have the audacity to actually do that as well.
Yet the order of the countries announcing their votes was announced in the morning today..? Sweden was really good but Latvia was my favourite. Also wee Spain got 15 votes.

I will just leave this here: It was a rip-off all along........ it was too good to be true I guess.
From the UK, I've always felt sorta detached from the rest of Europe, kinda like we're a separate thing altogether - the Eurovision votes prove it in some weird way, the high vote countries show the true european countries and we're waaaay down at the bottom. Not that eurovision is something to be taken seriously haha.

Our best recently was Had a bit of soul at least. Still did terribly.

For one, Heroes is better than that song. EDIT: Also in terms of UK Eurovision songs I really liked last years and, hell, she got 17th which, for us, isn't bad...

I love everything about Eurovision except for the political voting. Also, I think Australia did a really good performance considering that it was their first time participating.
