While the company has already confirmed that users will be able to stream Xbox One games to a Windows 10 computer when the new OS launches this summer, PCR understands that games currently listed as exclusive to Xbox will eventually launch on PC as full standalone titles. Several industry sources have confirmed the news to PCR. "It's a rumour which I know to be true," said one senior PC gaming industry executive. "Microsoft are going to be focusing a lot more on the PC gaming side than previously, and they’re also going to be bringing a lot of Xbox platform exclusives to Windows as well. "So this includes some of the biggest franchises in the Microsoft stable like Fable, Forza Motorsport and Halo. They're all forecasted to start coming out on PC in the future." The latest games in those series - Fable Legends, Forza Motorsport and Halo 5: Guardians (pictured) - are all due for release this year, with Halo 5 set to launch on October 27th. Microsoft has previously confirmed that Fable Legends will arrive on PC, too.
Source
c'mon man, you can't just post a photo like that without a source.
Oh look, another one of these Halo coming to Windows rumors. These appear every 2 months it seems :v:
Not believing it until Nadella comes out and says it.
If Microsoft did this they'd lose a noticeable portion of their Xbox One sales. As much as PC players want Halo for the PC, there is more money to be had in selling Xbox Ones and Halo there than on PC.
Still not upgrading to Windows10 my Windows7 is still going strong with no long term problems!
Still not upgrading to Windows10 my Windows7 is still going strong with no long term problems!
Have fun missing out on DX12. Cortana and a few other advantages.

I highly doubt they're gonna bring Halo 5 to PC.
Still not upgrading to Windows10 my Windows7 is still going strong with no long term problems!
You are aware that as a user of Windows 7, you will be able to get Windows 10 for free, right? Why would you not chose to upgrade then, considering dx12 will be exclusive to win 10.
ugh streaming. I would prefer playing them realtime, it's why I bought a PC in the first place.

It mentions the fact that you'll be able to stream games from your Xbox, but the rumour is about a standalone Halo title. Not that I know anything about the rumour but you just didn't read at all.

I want Reach and 3 on pc dammit..
On one hand, I am pessimistic and don't really believe this. On the other hand, forza forza forza forza forza forza
Personally I couldn't care less about Halo 5, Halo Reach, 3 or ODST I would be interested in however. Also Forza is cool
Possible announcement THIS MONTH!
Bring the good halos over and we'll talk.
Was playing Halo 3 on the 360 a day ago and even though i still absolutely love the gameplay, the servers are just dead. I mean the peak hours have 400-500 people playing it. A million players when the game got released and after that it always balanced on a steady 800 to 900 thousand players for the upcoming 3 months. I miss the olden days..
"It's a rumour which I know to be true," said one senior PC gaming industry executive.
Everything in this line seems like it was made to be satire. So there's no word from Microsoft about this anywhere? Seems like they would pretty much be shooting their XBox division in the dick with a move like this.

I doubt it would make any sense if they would remaster it again for Xbox Too, but IMO it is still not too late to sell "the same" product for the third time on the PC which is a Microsoft platform. Look at GTA V; it sold like crazy on old consoles, on new ones, and on PC, three times they sold the same thing with a 1 year gap and nobody complained. It was a brilliant move, there is no way it would sell that well if it released on all platforms at the same time.
Random gaming blog no one's ever heard of? Check. Quotes entirely from anonymous sources which cannot be verified? Check. Artricle makes bold and outrageous claims that are guaranteed to gain traction on gaming forms? Check. Seems to be more of an SEO operation.
I'd kill to get the remastered collection on the PC, and this is coming from a guy who only kind of wants to play through single player/cooperative again.
I almost bought a Xbox for forza
Still seems like baseless speculation as usual, but I would absolutely love it if Forza and/or Halo came out on PC. Those two games are literally the only reason I want an Xbox One, and it's because those are literally the only games I want on Xbox that I haven't bought one.

Releasing Halo 5 as an exclusive to it won't change much
