I think many people brushed it off as being a lark or a joke or a passing thing, especially when 2009 came and went without the show turning up. But it turns out that somewhere in the back of Fincher’s head the concept has continued, and it’s still on his mind. Tonight The Social Network screened for members of the Screen Actors Guild, and at the Q&A afterwards Fincher mentioned that he’s been recently talking to Trent Reznor about doing the musical. Back when the project was initially floated, Trent Reznor had expressed interest in doing the music; since then Fincher and Reznor have worked together on The Social Network and Reznor will be scoring the currently-in-production Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. All of a sudden this Fight Club musical seems like something that could actually happen. I think it sounds like a stellar idea; it’s completely weird, it’s got the possibility of being excellent and best of all it should inspire a whole new generation to completely and totally miss the point of Fight Club. Thanks to Akihiro Kitamura, the front end of the Human Centipede, for the info.
I love Fight Club and NIN but I can't see this ending well
Brad Pitt can sing, so if he's not in this, I'll cry.
can't see this being anything short of amazing, trust me
I can imagine the rules being sung opera style.

Isn't this against the idea of the book?
I think it's time to initiate Project Mayhem.
Awesome. I heard Palahniuk is involved too.
What Would Tyler Durden Do?
just watched the movie a week ago. I would love a sequel more but this is cool.
I dont know, I mean it ends up with him being the ruler of a crazy army trying to start a revolution and how can you be sure that Derbin is really gone since it came from his head? It seems like they could do something with that. The thing is though is that it was based off of a book so I dont know if they could make a sequel.
...I don't think you've even really seen fight club.
A Fight Club musical? Really? This would suck.

Better idea: How about a musical of Guts?
Haunted, yes. Guts by itself wouldn't work.
I loved the movie so much. I almost want to see it. I mean, if EVIL FUCKING DEAD can get a decent musical, why can't this?
This could be good. Who wants to see it with me?
Next up is... The Passion of the Christ: The musical
been done
End each show by burning a priceless piece of art, once they run out of art to burn, burn down the stage. Chucky P is one of my more respected authors, despite his dickishness sometimes.
UFC fighters brought in as stunt doubles for actual fights on stage.
Fight Club needs to be left alone. No sequels, no musicals, no bullshit. Period.
