D4, the next game from the creator behind the bizarre•Deadly Premonition, will be released for Xbox One on Sept. 19, Microsoft announced at Tokyo Game Show today. The Xbox One mystery game from Hidetaka "Swery65" Suehiro will be available for $14.99 as a download. Pitched primarily as a Kinect-controlled title when it was unveiled at E3 2013,•D4•can also be played with an Xbox One controller.
Source: http://www.polygon.com/2014/9/18/6375149/swerys-d4-comes-to-xbox-one-on-sept-19 I wish more games did this
Is this that quick time event game that was originally kinect only? honestly it sounds like it would be better as an arcade game.

Nah, would definitely make more sense as arcade. Too many people would be pissed by the idea probably.

Aw. Looks interesting but I dont have an Xbone
The Protagonist looks very similar to the beta character of Deadly Premonition and he puts 2 fingers on his head while thinking. York used to do that but in another way. I would love to play this game, DP was fantastic/awful, hope this game doesn't suffer the same weird fate
I loved Deadly Premonition(Thinking of doing a Livestream Playthrough with my upcoming break). I hope this gets brought to PC as well eventually. I fucking love Swery's stories.

Much like how York talks to Zach and how no one really asks directly.
I'd play this if I had a way to do so
Xbox One seller one-o-one.
I bought an XBone for this seriously. Finished up to Episode 1 now and I gotta say, its pretty fucking awesome with all the weirdness of a SWERY game. Motherfucking Forrest Kaysen is your partner! The kinect features work well enough but I hate waving my arms around like a git so I'm using a controller which works very well still. Reminds me of older detective games like Policenauts and SNATCHER just with being able to move around a room in 3rd person. My only gripe is it being episodic and only because now I have to worry about the game ever getting completed I don't know how well it'll sell.
Looks like an entertaining story.
