I'll believe it when I see a trailer. Same with that Castlevania film that's been rumoured for years.
I'll believe it when I see a trailer. Same with that Castlevania film that's been rumoured for years.
But Episode VII isn't a rumor?
But Episode VII isn't a rumor?
I don't believe a word anyone says anymore. Not even myself.
I don't believe a word anyone says anymore. Not even myself.
I don't believe you.
Don't fuck this up, Jar Jar Abrams
I don't believe you.
You're a smart one, then.
At least Hayden Christiansen won't be a factor this time around.
At least Hayden Christiansen won't be a factor this time around.
At least George Lucas won't be a major factor this time around.
30 years after? What, no universe shattering time travel that invalidates all previous work? JJ, I'm disappointed.
Wonder what the plot of this one will be then...
wait, filming begins in may? I thought they already started
At least Hayden Christiansen won't be a factor this time around.
He aint that bad of an actor, his script was awful though.
At least George Lucas won't be a major factor this time around.
I'm still under the belief that the George Lucas who made the prequels is a impostor and the real one is rotting away in some underground dungeon. If the Star Wars IP was under my name I'd do a remake of the prequels.
I'll believe it when I see a trailer. Same with that Castlevania film that's been rumoured for years.
Episode 7 is in a much more solid state than the Haunted Mansion and Magic Kingdom movie. It is going to happen.
I think JJ can do good things with this, wasn't a fan of the new star trek though.
I think they'll keep the movies at the same level they've been at, and keep the kiddy Star Wars for that Rebels show they're making. And by "think" I mean "desperately hope"
Not going to lie, I very quickly read that as Danny Devito
I wonder how they will handle the Extended Universe that's already set in place though.
wasn't it stated that this will retcon a great deal or maybe all of the post-Ep6 EU lore
I wonder how they will handle the Extended Universe that's already set in place though.
They will probably retcon any of the EU after ROTJ. But I hope like Clone Wars there will still be references.
wasn't it stated that this will retcon a great deal or maybe all of the post-Ep6 EU lore
Hey if that means the Yuuzhan Vong are gone, then I'm down with it.
He aint that bad of an actor, his script was awful though.
and George Lucas is fucking ridiculously awful at directing actors. you could've put Orson Welles in there and his motivations still would have choked balls
30 years after? What, no universe shattering time travel that invalidates all previous work? JJ, I'm disappointed.
Honestly the Parallel Universe idea was probably the best thing they could have possibly have pulled off without pissing out die hard fans with new (hollywood) storylines
I hope it's any good. I have some faith in this movie because I believe the Star Wars universe still has a lot to offer. I like to be proven correct.
Episode 7 is in a much more solid state than the Haunted Mansion and Magic Kingdom movie. It is going to happen.
The Haunted Mansion movie is happening they handed out a poster for it at Comic Con and there was a teaser trailer for it [img_thumb]http://www.dreadcentral.com/img/news/jul10/999_haunts.jpg[/img_thumb]
Wonder what the plot of this one will be then...
Another deathstar and 2 chewbaccas
The Haunted Mansion movie is happening they handed out a poster for it at Comic Con and there was a teaser trailer for it [img_thumb]http://www.dreadcentral.com/img/news/jul10/999_haunts.jpg[/img_thumb]
This better have Eddie Murphy.
30 years after? What, no universe shattering time travel that invalidates all previous work? JJ, I'm disappointed.
Actually the time travel thing is good because then you've got two timelines, you keep all the other people happy because there stuff isn't touched and you can mess around with your own startrek universe, I wish starwars got this mercy as I'm quite the Starwars EU nut.
The Haunted Mansion movie is happening they handed out a poster for it at Comic Con and there was a teaser trailer for it [img_thumb]http://www.dreadcentral.com/img/news/jul10/999_haunts.jpg[/img_thumb]
I could have sworn that this project was in some sort of limbo since then, aka the concept trailer is from 4 years ago. I do hope it gets released eventually. [editline]18th March 2014[/editline]
This better have Eddie Murphy.
The main star of the movie is going to be the hatbox ghost.
He aint that bad of an actor, his script was awful though.
This needs to be said far more often. It's the job of the writers to give the actors good dialogue, and the job of the Director to make sure the actors are giving off the right mood and tone in their performance. If the actor gets given a rubbish line or the director doesn't push for a better take (which, given the proven acting skills of Portman and McGregor in particular seems to be the case in the Prequels) then it's the fault of the writers and director that the acting is rubbish, not the fault of the actors. I mean there's only so much influence you can actually have as an actor - if the other crew members are confident that the direction and writing is good then you don't really have the power to overthrow them.
