Made for an expensive $225 million, the film wound up being a great investment for the folks at Warner Bros., as the Superman film wound up making nearly $670 million worldwide. The high grosses were enough to secure director Zack Snyder the job of helming the sequel, the still untitled Batman vs. Superman, and now comes news that he has secured the job of directing the Justice League movie as well. so this is a bad thing? i think... i really haven't gone to any dc movies since Christopher Nolan's dark knight rises and that wasn't even that good... dark knight is about the best DC can ever hope for
fuck
time for collateral damage
I'm one of the few people who really liked the Watchmen movie, and even I know this is a bad thing
wait is this a good thing or a bad thing
Don't see how this is a bad thing..Dawn of The Dead remake and 300 alone make him a great director in my opinion..those were his first two films..
300 was not a good film...
...in your opinion.
wait is this a good thing or a bad thing
Bad. Well, to most people. He's done Man Of Steel, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, 300, and Dawn of the Dead. 50% rotten tomato average, if you like that site at all
If you completely rely on some film critic website to tell you whether you enjoy a movie or not you probably have the self awareness of a retard exploring their first boner. I don't get the bandwagon hate for this guy, I enjoyed his films.
At least I know the music will be good.
Watchmen, Sucker Punch, 300, and Dawn of the Dead
i found these enjoyable maybe not good but i enjoyed them

Yes yours can differ but you might be in a minority Thanks for comparing me to a "retard exploring their first boner" though, you're very kind
Watchmen is fucking great. What do people have against it?
"not as good as the source material" from what I can tell
Yeah I'm looking for any reason except that. The comic has sentimental value to me and I still was sucked into the film.

the general consensus of /r/DCcomics is that it's a good thing. [editline]28th April 2014[/editline] also this is exciting
Warner Bros. has several other movies in development unconnected to the Justice League that are based on DC superheroes and fantasy and crime titles from its Vertigo line of genre comics, said Mr. Silverman and Toby Emmerich, president of Warner’s New Line Cinema label. They include “Shazam,” “Metal Men,” “100 Bullets,” and “Fables.”

wait is this a good thing or a bad thing
Check out the ratings bro!!!
and here's (a) source because op forgot it http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2014/04/27/warner-bros-details-plans-for-justice-league-movie-exclusive/

A JL film is no surprise, but I really wish it wasn't Snyder directing. I feel like the only reason WB is going forward with a DCCU besides Marvel's success is Snyder's involvement, and once he takes a break to work on other projects they'll be scrambling to find a replacement or stall continued development of their universe indefinitely.
100 Bullets would make an awesome TV series.
It's been pretty much confirmed that they wanted to do one. Apparently it was going to be broadcast on Showtime but a whole bunch of public mass shootings at the time made it look like a bad idea. It's been "Postponed".
fuck
Words can not describe how much fuck this fuck with fuck fuck fuck fuck
anyone who enjoyed Suckerpunch needs a [sp]lobotomy[/sp]
I'm one of the few people who really liked the Watchmen movie, and even I know this is a bad thing
definitely not "one of few", plenty of people enjoyed watchmen also most people attribute its quality to hayter's screenplay, not snyder
No DC films will ever touch the greatness of the DCAU, so this ill news doesn't bother, I was already anticipating it being a train wreck anyways.
Man of Steel was good.
Man of Steel was good.
ok at best, I mean really
