• Trump Tells Spain to "Build The Wall" across the Sahara

Donald Trump urged Spain to 'build the wall' – across the Sahara.. Donald Trump suggested the Spanish government tackled the Mediterranean migration crisis by emulating one of his most famous policies and building a wall across the Sahara desert, the country’s foreign minister has revealed. According to Josep Borrell, the US president brushed off the scepticism of Spanish diplomats – who pointed out that the Sahara stretched for 3,000 miles – saying: “The Sahara border can’t be bigger than our border with Mexico.” Emphasis Mine
does this guy get stupider every waking second because this is the most unfeasible thing i've ever heard in my life apart from Atlantropa

Building on sand is pretty much the definition of instability. Truly only a very stable genius could come up with such a brilliant plan.

Doesn't Spain already have a triple trump tier wall with Morocco?
Oh, not really related but there is this thing which does bring scepticism to all these measurements from a get go. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coastline_paradox
tbh, the brainlet meme perfectly describes everything trump does and the people who support him https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/223311/58342ccf-5a41-49b6-b9e6-c518e5ed95e9/brainlets.jpg
I'm losing so many brain cells from this shit I might end up this way by the time we're done. Maybe it was the GOP's plan all along.
"How to delete someone else"
"I mean, it only spans almost the entire width of the continent, what's the big deal?"
Before reading the article: "I'm pretty sure he's just referring to the enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla, they're pretty small and have had some genuine problems with migrants, this might not be a bad idea, the thread is overreacting" After reading it: "oh no the fucking madman"
Thats really all he's got huh. What a shame.
Does he think algeria is part of spain or something? That's like asking canada to build a wall between nebraska and kansas
If you think he knows anything about geography, you have to then ask if he even cares about the African nations who'd be affected. His opinion on "shithole counties" is well known.

I'm still convinced to this day that the reason Puerto Rico received such poor aid after the hurricane was because Trump didn't know it was US territory and instead just another "shithole" South American country.
Is his answer to everything "BUILD A WALL"? Is he the kinda guy to build a menu fort if he has a fight at a restaurant with Melania?
Ignoring everything else, I found the statement especially silly because of this thing, not a wall in the same sense but instead it's pretty much a continuous minefield with millions of mines. I think the Sahara has had quite enough of walls already.
Not only that, but it seems that he thinks that because they are immigrants then they must come from directly south of Spain or something. I don't think he realizes that a lot arrive via their neighbors or on boats - he must think that the refugee situation in Europe is identical to immigration to the US.
I'm pretty sure that he doesn't realize there's a goddamn sea between Spain and the Sahara Desert.
ah no need to worry, those already have some exquisitive fucking impressive borders, triple fence walls alongside constant patrolling. And even still people get in. It's fucking impressive actually. Just shows how absolute shit their situation must be.
