Damn, maybe next time.
How come the absolute worst people in history survive the most assasination attempts, seriously :/ (the probability of success in an assasination attempt is already relatively low, and the fact that only bad people are going to have high profile assasination attempts in the first place is probably what makes it seem like bad people are immune to assasination attempts.)
I was wondering how long it'd be until we'd start seeing explosive drone bombing attempts aimed at leaders and political figures.
Low risk, virtually untracable, shit, it's kinda scary how efficient they could potentially be.
you really don't want a dictator to be assasinated. If it doesn't end in an outright civil war, the next guy is almost certain to be worse than the first and the people will have sympathy for them. the only way to step back from a dictatorship is a peaceful transfer of power
Shame he survived, very interested to see who or what actually was responsible. I'm sure there's already half a dozen conspiracy theories, and the Venezuelan propaganda ministry isn't any more believable than they are.
The people would be impoverished whether he died or not.
As karma is infrared-guided, it sometimes misses cold-blooded fucking reptilians. Unfortunately we're witnessing one such example.
The scary part is we have something similar to that already https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGAk5gRD-t0
The "Attempted Drone Bombing" was a complete lie, here (more than one denied it and didn't believe that about the "drone history" evey someone I'd rather not mention doesn't believe it himself the "Drone armed with C4" Because otherwise they would have immediately reported him back to Caracas. The "Drone" was actually an gas tank that explode in an apartment that was on fire near the military parade that the people who lived in the area reported Right at the moment he was talking. and the place where Maduro was doing the parade (Avenida Bolivar of Caracas) It's the biggest street in the whole country is place is surrounded by apartments (thank you to the complete geographical incompetence of caracas authorities that even the largest military base in the country is in the middle of an fucking urban area!) Three officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case say the incident was actually a gas tank explosion inside an apartment. Smoke could be seen coming out of a building window at the site of the incident. But there's only one general or captain who broke his head and get out with head bleeding but who more than one (including me) is the same guy who was Closely Behind (off shot) the Minister of Defense (Padrino Lopez) collapsing before the camera is cut. there was another shot during the " Drone Bombing" where even none of the people on the platform moved and remind calm and all of them, if it had been for "real." more than one of them would have evacuated the platform immediately. (and for incompetence they left the first lady unprotected and almost with laugh on her face). Also the drones have been restricted or banned for a long time (if I remember correctly). the place is surrounded and cordoned off by snipers and agents of both Military Intelligence, Honor Guard, Counter Intelligence everywhere. One "resistance" group called T-shirt soldiers took responsibility for the "attempt". but nobody believes them (Except the idiots) And if you think that this will ende up with Maduro, think twice because even if Maduro, I'll be hurt or killed. Diosdado Cabello (its "best friend") It's 100,0000% much WORSE than Maduro and Pol Pot himself. if he were to take control of the presidency.
That sound at the end, like the screams of the damned. I wouldn't want to be the target of that.
Sending prayers to him and his family 🙏
ya its very rare that you force a peaceful transfer of power in a dictatorship but the last thing south america needs is another civil war.
well i don't think just sitting cooped up waiting till you starve to death is the best option either
