According to a report in Spiegel on Tuesday, three police units have been sent back to Berlin. The police had arrived in Hamburg on Sunday and were being housed in a container camp originally built for refugees. Officers were seen having sex in public and urinating in a group on fences. Meanwhile neighbours had complained about "party noise" from the camp, while property damage was also reported. "One female officer was seen dancing on a table dressed only in a bathrobe with a weapon in her hand," said B.Z. daily, which published photos of the cops posing with their drinks as well as the dining site in disarray after the party.
https://www.thelocal.de/20170627/berlin-police-sent-home-from-g20-preparations-over-public-sex-and-urinating-on-fences
Out of office parties are always crazy!
You mean American police aren't the only in the world that can be incompetent at times? Because tons of people sure act like it
Not surprised at all this was in Germany... and definitely not surprised it was Berliner polizei.
Not surprised at all this was in Germany... and definitely not surprised it was Berliner polizei.
what do you mean by this? do they have a reputation for misconduct?
You mean American police aren't the only in the world that can be incompetent at times? Because tons of people sure act like it
There's a very big difference between randomly shooting innocent people and making loud party noises.
what do you mean by this? do they have a reputation for misconduct?
Berlin has quite a reputation for conduct that people might label as degeneracy. Very naughty people indeed. I love the place but my god it's crazy the stuff people get up to over there, and if the Berlin police are made of Berliners... go figure.
bah, let 'em have their fun. As long as it aint hurting the public, the officers, or their performance on the clock, let them enjoy their drunken public orgies in peace.

Was just in Berlin for a week with some friends. There is a club called Kitkat which is best explained by this excerpt
I walk on into the gloom and head to the downstairs bar. In the darkness I encounter Manfred. He is famous at the club for spending between six and eight hours a night wanking furiously in the stairwell while clubbers push past him, thirsty for their next vodka and Club Mate. I ask him why he spends so much time self-pleasuring. "You see bodies, such bodies here," he puffs, breathless, his hand pumping his manhood ferociously. "Do you see them — all these bodies?" Sure. But it's a sex club — why not actually talk to someone? You might get lucky. Manfred nods his head, motioning towards his engorged member and his rapid, shuffling hand. "I don't have time," he says admonishingly.
I hope they were dancing to Eins Zwei Polizie, now that would be something. Jokes aside, while i do agree that some code of conduct be maintained, to police off work hours like this, it's just eeeeeeh.
german orgy piss parties? sign me up

I want to go to Berlin.
In the darkness I encounter Manfred.
Good grief. Not Manfred! Anyway, here's a picture of the party:
You mean American police aren't the only in the world that can be incompetent at times? Because tons of people sure act like it
They had a party, hardly shooting unarmed black kids
You mean American police aren't the only in the world that can be incompetent at times? Because tons of people sure act like it
shooting a fence with piss isn't the same as shooting an unarmed person with bullets

The SPIEGEL source linked in the article says there might be a welcome party for them back in Berlin :v: Personally I think it's hilarious that it happened, but also that they really shouldn't do this while on the job.
