yeah its not yet a guaranteed deal. But that was bay's coding on the qc. he said he will ask his colleagues if it will run into trouble but it is LIKELY that the guns would be shipped (if ever valve chose to) as a bodygrouped item.

The TF economy doesn't give much of a damn about weapons unless they're Vintage, Genuine, or Strange. And the TF team hasn't shown any signs of making any more items Vintage and this item isn't a promo, so it can't be Genuine. That doesn't change the fact that it's a sexy-lookin' gun.

He said that it was an experiment to see how the community responds to them; and that implies that they were also going to monitor the sales figures of them. NeoDement's Bootlegger and Scottish Handshake are a continuation of that experiment, as are the Wanga Prick and Unarmed Combat by GG_Underscore. There's obviously a point where people would get sick of reskinned weapons, I think we've pretty much come to that point; let's see if they act accordingly.

The +25 HP makes it a good combination with the Sticky Jumper. Sticky Jumper's high ammo pool and lack of the need for more ammo makes it a possibility for me to use the Persian Persuader. Peg Leg + Cutlass/Scimitar + Sticky Jumper = The Flying Scotsman

There's balancing something so it isn't overpowered, and then there's cutting its balls off to the point where nobody will use it. Leaving an Engi completely helpless if he wants to use what will probably at best be a Level 1 support effect? That's sort of the latter.

I'm optimistic that valve is finding a way to work the kinks out. I can't promise anything but im more than willing to work with whatever they want me to do on this item.
