-snip- I found out my problem :3 model will be ready soon
Valve still hasn't paid me, either. It's partly explainable by the fact that I haven't made any items for them, but still. Bunch of assholes. Oh, and as I've already made a post.. Is there any convenient way to work with func_details? I've heard that pro mappers just func_detail everything by habit. However, I have a tendency to want to do stuff with the stuff I've made, continuously. Tiny adjustments, copying convenient brushes, etcetera. If I func_detail stuff, I have to break and reassemble all of it every time I want to do something, which is pretty inconvenient. Right now I group most stuff I build, to make the eventual func_detail makeover more convenient. However, this means I have a fuckbunch of tiny unfuncy brushes everywhere, which (I guess) is the cause of the eternal compile times I get if I try to run with VIS enabled. Always running with VIS disabled feels like a bad thing to do.
When you tie a brush to an entity isn't it func_detail by default?
When you tie a brush to an entity isn't it func_detail by default?
Yeah, it is. However, tying every single brush I make to an entity gets pretty inconvenient, and if I tie a bunch of brushes to one and then have to break them up, I have to select each of them individually to tie them together again. Hm, on second thought, making all brushes individual func_details may actually be a good idea. Since I create a lot of my brushes by shift-dragging other conveniently placed ones, I'd get a bunch of brushes funcy by default.
TF2 turns into every round of golden-eye with that guy who picks odd job.
should play agent under fire/nightfire (?), all 4 players could be oddjob. Hats flying everywhere. In fact, why doesn't someone make oddjob's hat for the scout?
Can we have the Misc-style cape for the Gunboats?
It looks exactly the same?
It looks exactly the same?
Oh, I thought the Gunboats cape looked like the Mantreads one because they had the same download zip. Excuse me then :downs:

why
Personally, in my opinion the picture portrays the item much worser than it looks (especially the blu, yuck!). It is quite nice when I see it in the gamebanana shots. [t]http://ranger.gamebanana.com/img/ss/skins/4f288dd2dcc58.jpg[/t] The biggest problem I have, is it looks like the phong on that thing is massive. Try toning it down a little.

Just thought I'd show this to you's, give something to talk about. Personally, I think it could use less phong as you mentioned and less illuminated parts. Also, it seems to be a highly modified Ambassador.
How do the whisks move if it's unplugged?
Seriously? Have none of you people ever heard of an internal battery? It's like you're all obsessed with slapping big blocks of electricity on things.
Seriously? Have none of you people ever heard of an internal battery? It's like you're all obsessed with slapping big blocks of electricity on things.
Well it does have a stripped power cord, usually appliances that are manufactured to get an external source of power do not have on-board batteries.
Well it does have a stripped power cord, usually appliances that are manufactured to get an external source of power do not have on-board batteries.
Nah. That cord is just the charger for this things internal battery. But if it runs out of juice now, God help you.
