Y'know, i've been wondering; with all these cosmetics, the hats and miscs, do you think that the next step forward in cosmetic customisation would be character skins, or would that make it harder to judge whether a guy is RED or BLU? Colour-changes outside of different shades of red and blue wouldn't be viable for that reason, but having different textures, like an Engineer wearing a team-coloured shirt that looks like flannel, or the ever-famous Stylish Spy, would that work?

The only way to get a gift is to buy it or get it as a gift, so the chain has to start with someone making a purchase. The dueler is the only one that is perfectly reasonable to obtain without buying, as dueling tokens drop fairly regularly.
All of those can be traded for, which technically bides them unnaffected by that law, doesn't it? [editline]6th May 2012[/editline] And unusuals are gotten by unlocking a crate, not by buying an amount of keys.

However, just adding stranges and unusuals to the drop system with a very, very, very minor chance to get them would probably be a loophole, since they would no longer be "luck from purchase only" They could also argue every item in the crate is worth at least 2.50. That would make it okay also.

It fits fine and you still know what team they are on, but I just couldn't see TF2 ever doing that.

You know what you're fighting from the start, and when you get close you see who it is

In Christmas update, they released a map. It wasn't fitting christmas. A factory map with nothing about christmas. Why did they add it? To hint upcoming updates. First hint --------- Pictures of robots. Second hint ----------- Tobor text. (It's robot.) Third hint ---------- When you look at Red spawn, you see heavy and scout looking at those pictures, scared. When you go to Blue spawn, nothing but a poster with tobor on it. Forth Hint ---------- M V M - 13 22 13 (Numbers in top secret room) What do those mean? Robot pictures = Robot versions of classes Tobor text = Reverse Robot Third hint = Robots! Forth = MvM(Mann Vs Machine) (Also seen in manifest files "sound\'mvm'\melee_impacts\") They started adding boomboxes and lots of futuristic stuff. All of the recent updates had hints inside them. Manifest files and stuff. (They keep adding those..) Bosses -------------- A big Robot Boss (Shoots grenades, rockets, nukes, you can stun him.) Big versions of Classes (It was here before as "A big one". It's now been confirmed that they are big versions of classes.) Tank (Used to be "A car". Shoots rockets and smashes people!) Robots -------------- Minions Sentry Busters (They walk.) Robot Bots (That's why they update bots a lot.) New combat stuff and weapons stuff and BOMBS. How will it work? ----------------- According to manifest files, there will be robot waves and boss waves. You will be able to upgrade things and buy powerups for your class.
