They released no official statement on BOI, that was based off BOI creator being told he could make promos by valve. Tomb raider they officially stated. Valve is known to delay, but it's rare they make promises with collaboration to another conpany (SE). They're smart enough to do their job for a contest.
I hate it when updates bring a flurry of annoying dumbasses to facepunch
I hate it when updates bring a flurry of annoying dumbasses to facepunch
Hopefully the forum will still be closed to visitors when EOTL hits. Sure, some nice, sensible people wouldn't be able to join, but lots of idiots would be kept out too.
http://steamcommunity.com/updates/broadcasting "Watch friends play, with the click of a button".
This really could use some better sorting features, like "by Game" and "by Friends." Tons of people are streaming mostly games I don't care about, or anime. Tough to find friends streaming (though that does at least show up in activity so I guess they want you to look there instead). And it'd be really cool if you could schedule broadcasts and look for upcoming events there, instead of relying on being in someone's group and using that event system. Does this let you broadcast non-steam things, such as 3DS Max? I could see a lot of potential for workshop modelers to show off their processes.
it's not hard for a guest to join and make an account with a click of a button:
Why join a forum if you have no idea about its contents?
You're one of them.
I'm pretty sure this is a joke, but if it isn't, why do you see me as an idiot?
Why join a forum if you have no idea about its contents?
If they're here to visit the TF2 thread people have told them about clearly they have some sort of idea as to why they're on the website in the first place
Why do some of you guys have to be mean to new posters. I get it if they are shitposting or whatever but can you really blame them for being hyped about a new potential update and wanting to talk about it. They may have been people like myself who have been lurking sense before the love and War update and have just recently started actually posting. I know im new here and its not entirely my place to say this but you should be welcoming new posters not being biased towards them just because they're new. And like punchy said if they went out of there way to go to the tf2 section they likely know what they are saying to some extent.

"TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT!" "Why do some of you guys have to be mean to new posters?"
If they're here to visit the TF2 thread people have told them about clearly they have some sort of idea as to why they're on the website in the first place
Maybe they were on the website to see what the forums are like and don't just sign up to sites without knowing how good they are?
you heard it here first, folks
Some of those new posters instantly mark FP off as bad when they get a single dumb rating which instantly causes some people to dislike them.

you guys realize you're all shitposting about shitposting, right? nothing is going to change because a few of you disagree with people saying 'tonight's the night' and if anything it only adds to the 'spam' as you'd describe it. and yes I realize that by posting this I am shitposting about shitposting about shitposting. shitposting-ception.
Parka: Vase looks a bit ugly, Parka looks great, imo.
Did Lara wear a parka like that in the classic games? Don't get me wrong, it looks fantastically modeled, but it doesn't really make me think of Tomb Raider when I see it.
I don't see why people think it'll be added just because "the tag got removed" (which makes even less sense). Just wait a few hours and you'll get your results.
Did Lara wear a parka like that in the classic games? Don't get me wrong, it looks fantastically modeled, but it doesn't really make me think of Tomb Raider when I see it.
Lara wears some kind of coat.
Lara wears some kind of coat.
I'm assuming it's from a different more specific game because as infected said it looks like a unique jacket and nothing like anything iconic from tomb raider
yeah, you can broadcast non steam games iirc.
broadcasts of broadcasts of broadcasts when.

I'm a having a huge headache because of this topic. All i gotta say on my end is to be nice. unless they shitpost endlessly.
Actual speculation here, do we know what the exact purpose of the train in EOTL is? All I remember is Blu has a train, Red has to stop it; but what's in the cars? Where's it going? What truly is at the end of the rails? And how does the orphanage come into play with all this?

It's full of bombs.
The shorts are iconic.
I seem to remember the same thing being said of a certain hat from a mediocre game recently.
