The Walking Dead is a comic written by Robert Kirkman, as of 2010 it's also a TV-show on AMC/FOX The story follows a small town sheriff called Rick Grimes, who wakes up from a coma to find himself in a zombie-invested world. He leaves the hospital to look for his wife Lori and his son Carl. Along the way he finds more and more trouble. Use spoiler tags. They are "sp" inside brackets. Honestly this season can best be summed up as 'meh'
At least [sp] Glenn [/sp] went out at the peak of the show and was given a badass death, his character was awesome.
Best put spoil tags on that ^^^
Best put spoil tags on that ^^^
Two week rule I assumed was in place but I edited it just in case.
Got caught up on most recent episode. [sp]Everything is going way too well for the Rickites right now. Also how do you fail killing a guy on a motorcycle with a fucking machine gun, I was hoping really hard for Daryl's death there. [/sp]

There are a few people they will give the chop to save on the budget and he is not one of them.. Never will be.

[/sp]
It bothers me how far this show has shifted from Survival Horror to "look how badass our main characters are"
so what number are we on with ezekiel's speeches? 4? 5? it's getting silly
This is the 20th speech I have made this week... And yet, I smile. :q:
The Walking Dead would be better off on HBO or some other paid service. It's really clear they are having to stretch their budget thin to accommodate so many episodes. I need to re-watch the earlier seasons, I really don't remember it being this bad. I felt almost no tension this entire season. The guns look so fake and weak I can't even get into the gun fights. No ejected casings, no bullet holes, no reloading, accuracy is inconstant etc. Not to mention how bad the story and cinematography has become... [sp]The jeep scene? Holy fuck, who thought that was a good idea? Everything about that scene was hot garbage. The machine gun that managed to kill like 30 people in 2 seconds with pin point accuracy suddenly becomes useless as it cant shoot a jeep and a bike 10 feet in-front of it? Not even one bullet hits the windshield of the jeep? Main character armor too strong. The funny thing is you could have easily fixed that scene by having the guy in the back rushing to put the gun together as Rick and Daryl close in. Then have Daryl or Rick shoot him at the last second or some shit. Don't even get me started on Ezekiel's "just leave me behind, I can't climb up a 1 foot slope" scene. It's not like they couldn't kill the unusually slow 10 zombies remaining or anything worst case scenario. [/sp] Been watching this shit for like 8 years can't stop now. Just kill me.
I'm still trying to figure out what the actual fuck the writers thought bringing back [sp]Morales, then immediately killing him off[/sp] served to advance the plot.
I only just found out they made a walking dead robot chicken special. Its very funny.
I wear a leather jacket, I have Lucille, And my nut-sack is made of steel!
[sp]"I think... I'm here to take your confession..." *slowly forming shit-eating grin on face*[/sp] I liked Father Gabriel at first (due to it being the dude from The Wire), then despised his character, now I love him again. That moment [sp]with Negan in the trailer[/sp] and his no-shits-given attitude that started to surface over his fear made me grin. The show's not as good as it used to be, but it has its little glimmers thanks to some of the actors.
Finally, a decent episode. I really enjoyed it, felt like we were getting progress despite it [sp]being set in the same time as Episode 1-3[/sp]
Still I'm not sure I'd call it good. [sp] The first 5-10 minutes are a pointless conversation between Gregory and the Saviors that didnt need to happen because we already know the result. This is what you call Filler. Rick once again goes back on his speech in episode one, where people who look the other were were expendable, plus chucking explosives at a car. [/sp] At least there wasn't any more of the god awful gun fighting.
What do you guys think the deal was with the [sp]helicopter?[/sp]
What do you guys think the deal was with the [sp]helicopter?[/sp]
No idea, but I loved Andrew Lincoln's acting there. Just staring in pure confusion like it was some UFO.
It's nice to have a really good episode after it's been awhile.
What do you guys think the deal was with the [sp]helicopter?[/sp]
I'm not quite sure. if I would have to guess I would say (Comic Spoilers:) [sp] Maybe it's Magna's group? And they're going to give us a bit of backstory for how Magna's group got there. Or it could be FTWD crew and S4 ends on a helicopter ride to that area as the big "crossover" reveal [/sp]
the first decent episode in a long, long time apparently the quality of episodes is directly connected to the amount of Negan
What the shit. [sp]The episode I watched must have stopped recording because I can't find any mention of a Helicopter scene.[/sp]
If it's the goddamn garbage pail kids again I'll flip my shit. The guy with the telescope, I mean. I goddamn HATE the garbage pail kids.
If it's the goddamn garbage pail kids again I'll flip my shit. The guy with the telescope, I mean. I goddamn HATE the garbage pail kids.
i'm fairly certain that's what that was supposed to be. trash people are awful filler characters
This Sunday on The Talking Dead they will reveal the crossover character for FTWD/TWD
EUGH
So the crossover character is [sp] Morgan [/sp] That surprises me. I don't know what they're going to do with S4 now. The little talking dead interview alluded to that character possibly being done with TWD

[sp]the speculation of it being abraham was better than the actual product nice[/sp]
i have a lot of issues with this i'm not even sure where to begin. [sp]the speculation of it being abraham was better than the actual product nice[/sp]
I can only think of two possibilities that actually fit with the storyline. 1. [sp] The Morgan we're going to get is the Morgan in between S1 and "Clear" of S3. After that he follows Rick's trail to DC. We know that FTWD is filming in Texas now, but we don't know what their journey is. When they'll meet up with Morgan who knows. [/sp] or 2. [sp] FTWD jumps post S8 TWD and they meet up with Morgan. But then we get a 2 year time jump for FTWD and that doesn't even sound plausible or logical. [/sp]
I think the latest episode had ANOTHER time jump, this time without it being obvious. That or they really butchered continuity. [sp]The first scene with Jadis, she is sitting naked except for an Apron, making a Cat wire sculpture. We then hear banging from the Cargo container and she gets her people to open it, and they do. Next scene she is dressed, fully clothed and Rick is brought in. Now how is this a time jump? Well unless they butchered continuity, there is no way Jadis could have gone from Naked Apron to Fully Clothed in milliseconds cause the doors opened right when she was outside, and she didn't have clothes on. Unless she got dressed in the mere instant Rick was walking in but by that point, he has already seen the Apron and what not, why bother?[/sp] [sp]My theory, is that it's set in the next episode, where Rick is in the Cargo and they let him out.[/sp]
[sp]"Lets kill all the workers and non-combatants inside the Sanctuary, this is war, Negan started it." "No Daryl stop that's a terrible idea" "Fuck u Rick I'm the bad boy character the fans will side with me" "Also lets go kill, to the best of our knowledge, the only double agent we have and kill him right now" (did I hear that part right?)"[/sp]
