we haven't decided any official names and are unlikely to in the future. any names on the wiki are an aberration and will be corrected.

Meanwhile, here's a little enhancement: Killed cloaked spies no longer just pop into existence.

Just a heads up, if you guys need help with the pt-br localization of the game, I would be happy to give a hand. I know this will basically mean nothing for the project for now, but help is help, right?
Why is there still no guide on making a dedicated server? Game is sorta dead in EU and no one updates their servers. And so happens that I have some space in Amsterdam laying around
Why is there still no guide on making a dedicated server? Game is sorta dead in EU and no one updates their servers. Linux binaries tho
Servers aren't up because the service provider at VaultF4 are doing network upgrades, there is no ETA when the servers will be back up since its a big upgrade.
You said that you experimented with CSM, and that it didn't fit the art style of TF2 (can't exactly remember what you said though). Can we still have an option to enable it? Maybe as a console command? Like "tf_use_csm_lighting 1" I'd like to see how it looks for everything in the game, such as on the characters, in maps, on viewmodels etc

Does anyone have the original source code that the tf2c devs used?
Does anyone have the original source code that the tf2c devs used?
There's a public GitHub.
OK, so I tried setting up a Linux server using the tutorial and my existing TF2 server as a template, got this. Have some batch files too.
uh hey does anyone know why the maps are fullbright for me?
type mat_fulbright 0 in the console
type mat_fulbright 0 in the console
it worked, thanks for the help mate
Can we have official stock servers? With only stock weapons and stock maps (including those ported from live tf2 like badwater)? The actual 2007 version of TF2 has security exploits, since it runs on the 2007 version of the source engine instead of the 2013 version. Pretty sure this is really easy to set up, just use the "tf2c_force_stock_weapons 1" command and set up the map rotation accordingly. It would make the name "Team Fortress 2 Classic" actually make sense. Also, has the payload hud been fixed in the next update to use the actual payload hud instead of cp?
If we got some official Linux support that would become a thing immediately
Linux is supported. We ship Windows, Linux, and starting with next release, Mac OS binaries.

Well, it's looking better as it goes. Nasty shading errors though: [t]http://i.imgur.com/1MqHIH4.png[/t]
Crashes my server though
That's a problem with your server then, and not with the game. There are plenty of servers using them.
